Diana same as me, I have to go back to my old laptop because I have bookami there, but I guess I will have to invest on wunderfold, I really don't like subscriptions but in this case I think it worth it.

It is! I haven't done many patterns lately because I've been busy with the Foto Book Art patterns, but Wunderfold is awesome!

Hi, I got the image the I wanted, but when I went to print it out, the preview is showing the graph and image details. I was expecting the striped image itself to be printable. Is there a way to get that?

I haven't figure out a way to print the lines over the image. I have tick marks at the top and bottom that I would use for a cutting guide. However now I have an app that will print the lines across the image and also has the option of ink saver when printing fotobookart.com

Hello. I just started using this. Thanks for the video. Super good details. I have a question. I did a pattern and the pattern called for 3 random pages that said no marks. But that wasn’t right in keeping with the picture. I ended up cutting those pages out but I’m wanting to sell this pattern. How do I fix this glitch?

Thanks so much! Where are the random pages with no marks? Are they together? What is the pattern? If they're together, it could be a space between letters or words. If that's the case, I usually fold them to a point, or half fold them back to have more of an accent for the space. If they're all in different places, I'd have to see the pattern to get an idea of why they might be unmarked.

Thank you. You would have to combine them first in a different software or app and then upload to Wunderfold

Diana, Which software do you prefer, Bookami or Wunderfold? Are there limitations or costs to some desired features within the individual programs? Does Wunderfold offer the ability to create a fold on the top of the book as well? I'm thinking that's probably just a separate pattern based on the top measurements. Are you, or members of your FB group aware of other software that is more productive yet user friendly? Sorry, we don't have Social Media in our home... Thanks

I prefer Wunderfold now. It's very user friendly. Bookami has a three line option for text. As far as top design, it's just another pattern with those measurements. I would say these two are the most user friendly standalone.

Hello. I wanted to know what the different colors that appear in the rows mean when the template is generated. Some brands appear in blue, others in green, and others in white. why?

Depends on which pattern you're creating. For regular ones I think it's just to help visually. If multilayer, it indicates the depth. Brian, owner of Wunderfold, can answer any question.

How do you use this wunderfold to make a graph style pattern instead of a pattern with all the cut places as numbers? I am totally lost here.

Once you get ready to export, you'll see the option of table or graph.

Have you been able to experiment with combi in Wunderfold? They all say cut but I want to fold the outer area in. Is there a secret?

You can turn the pattern into a combi by folding in the top and bottom marks. So create the pattern as inverted or embossed, but then you fold in first/last marks.

Please tell me what you choose first the book or the drawing? Is there a rule? My problem is that I have a picture but I don't know how many pages to set. Thank you

Always the image first for me. I don't know if there is a specific rule (possibly?). I tend to go by feel. Most of my books are around 300 pages - I've done some with fewer pages if the image still looks ok if it's skinnier and I've done some books closer to 400 pages if the image made sense to be wider. I find that most images work fine with books in the 325-375 range.
