Interestingly enough Kurt Cobain once gave Kristen pfaff (a member of Courtney Love's music band 'hole') a copy of the book( 'perfume' ). Anyway I read it and was a hell of a good read ,I definitely enjoyed and appreciated the book review!

Only other book I can think of that goes into scent descriptions so much is in Hannibal. Hannibal Lecters world is often described from a scent point of view. Which considering most psychopaths have poor sense of smell, is interesting.

Just read it again. Still a fantastic story.
