Are there any efforts to include Kouri-Vini things like this in DuoLingo? I’d love to see courses and exercises I can start practices daily via mobile.

@@ChristopheLandryPhD I think you and some other Kouri vini speakers should make a duolingo version of Kouri vini, I’d definitely pay months for it

Thanks for the heads up and if you know where we can buy Kouri-Vini children's books that would be great.

Bonjou! So, I’m not aware of any published books in Kouri-Vini, but I did make a playlist of stories in the language that you can listen to and read. I’ve recorded some, but many of them are from a KZfaq channel called Stories in Kouri-Vini, which I have also had the privilege of contributing to. Here’s my playlist: kzfaq.info/sun/PLi8yQHpEN_7iW_9fPpEzNrHMnTwxBoMP8

Do you speak creole in Louisiana as we speak it in the Caribbean? Or is it only spoken occasionally by a few people?

@@ChristopheLandryPhD I think she’s asking if it is widely spoken in Louisiana
@karldo48092 жыл бұрын
@@ChristopheLandryPhD she's asking if Louisiana Creole is similar to the French Creoles spoken in the Carribean. I think she also wants to know if Louisiana Creole is used in formal situations (workplace, government level) or only with friends and family.
