💕Yayyyyyy!!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉 It's soooo exciting and refreshing to see u do a review for a book I've actually read!!! 🤸🏽‍♂️ I read this during the pandemic. A friend loaned it to me and like you, I almost threw in the towel. I'm deeply fascinated by human behavior, nature and psychology, so I was drawn to the portrayal of the mask of normalcy that many people wear while harboring deep, dark secrets and committing evil acts behind closed doors. It truly embodies the saying "never judge a book by its cover"! The level of deception in the story was sooooo astounding! I appreciated the complexity of the characters!!! They absolutely blurred the lines between right and wrong in such a compelling way. It was challenging for me to understand the actions of two…what appeared to be “normal” individuals committing such atrocities and violence. I remember Tobias being referred to as Toby and the only reason why I remember is because my printer is named, Toby.😂😂😂 (I name everything) It was soooo fun to watch u review this!!! I have this in want to read list on kindle. That frustration when you have to give up on a book leaves you feeling suspended for days. I will have to read it now so I see what that secret is lol xxx

I read this one too its been a while and I dont remember much. I remember I liked it towards the end like you but something was missing. I also think I thought it was or should have gone in another direction...maybe...lol yea its been a min since I read it. 😁

Sounds like an interesting premise. I hate it when books take that long to get to the point of it all.

I hate reading a book that is a struggle only to find out further in it is actually an ok book.
