Another episode of Books, Books, Books. Today it's a flip through of a tag book made in July 2023, following Megan Quinlan's class during the Fodder Challenge that year. I’m so excited for this. Pausing at 3 seconds in to say….I LOVE QUEEN Anne’s Lace as a wild flower and one of my all-time favorite words ever is Meadow….🤗🤗🤗 I’m a little crazy for nature….ok, here we go……

Oh, I know, it's the most glorious plant. I'm a fan of umbellifers of all kinds (hence my most recent stamp release). Crazy for nature sounds very familiar to me.

Well, so far I have loved every video of yours that I have watched. Your descriptions are fabulous. I ordered the olive ink pad and the color is the green I have always wanted. Your stamps are so wonderful. Your bramble stamps remind me of a lovely afternoon with my sweet granny. They sent us out to pick blackberries. lol, we ate as many as we picked. We laughed and talked. It’s an amazing memory from my childhood. Thank you, treen 💕💕💕

I'm sorry, I simply don't remember... it's nearly a year ago. I was just playing and grabbing bottles. It's a combination of Distress Oxide Sprays, Dina Wakley Gloss Sprays and Distress Spray Stains as mentioned in the description - various blues and greens and turquoises, as it always is with me in spring and summer - but beyond that I'm afraid I can't help. If you take a look at the colour ranges of those sprays, you'll be able to pick out the ones that appeal to you.

I do understand - but obviously that's not my call! It's Wendy Solganik and Tiffany Sharpe you would need to persuade... I'm happy you like the booklet - that was made in the free Fodder Challenge last year, so watch out for more news about this year's Fodder Challenge - that's completely free. You need to sign up for Wendy's mailing list so you don't miss out. It's scheduled slightly differently this year.

How do you do the white lettering? Is the white ink? That's probably a really silly question but I haven't seen white ink where I'm at. Thank you for sharing your beautiful work.

Happy you like it, thank you. As listed in the description, in this book I used a Uniball Signo white gel pen, but I do also have plenty of white inks that I use with dip pens and various mark-making tools on other occasions. Liquitex do one, Daler Rowney do one, Zig Kuretake do one... plus the Ranger Distress Picket Fence Spray works as a white ink if you unscrew the lid. If you just do a google search on "white ink", I'm pretty sure you'll find some options.

Unless you mean something like the "moment" word on the front cover, in which case that's done with white embossing powder... Hope that all helps.

A beautiful tag book. I made this Fodder Tag book last year. Am I right in thinking that there is to be a new Fodder School later this year?

It was a great class from Megan, wasn't it? There's definitely a new Fodder School 4 starting later this year, yes. And I believe the free Fodder Challenge is happening in a slightly different way this year. You need to make sure you are signed up to Wendy Solganik's mailing list if you're not already, so that you don't miss any announcements. I think you can probably find it via the Fodder School links I've added in the description already.

@shawnas464 Yes, the Fodder Challenge has always taken place in the July before School starts in October... each of the 12 teachers teaching a small project on each of 12 days, starting July 1st. Then those classes are available for free for everyone who has signed up until the end of July. They then get added to the Fodder School classroom - so if you buy Fodder School 3, you have lifetime access to the Fodder Challenge classes by those Fodder School 3 teachers. But this year, Wendy is changing the timing of things, so you'll need to be signed up to the Fodder School newsletter to hear about how it's going to work this year. (You can find it on her website somewhere... www.willawanders.com/ ) As far as I know, there will still be the free classes to give you a taster of Fodder School 4, but I'm not promising!!
