I'm reorganizing my bookshelves! These are my shelves in my university dorm room and it was time to clean them out and give them a declutter. I ended up organising them by colour and I'm really happy with how it turned out! Hope your enjoy!

Hahah I love the floating plant! I love organizing by genre it's the superior organization method 😂 haha finding random dried flowers in things, I can relate!

It looks so pretty! I organize my books by height because I love seeing that straight line across the row of books. I have tall hardcovers, short hardcovers, paperbacks, and then taller American paperbacks all on separate shelves. :D doing it by genre doesn't make much sense to me because 90% of my books are fantasy anyway haha. I love the rainbow look but I cannot have my series split up!

The visual effect using colour is quite nice. I press flowers in books too. I have numerous book shelves. Mostly I organize through category such as travel, art history, language, recipes and health and wellness but the fiction I organize by author. I have some treasured magazines Christmas editions and Martha Stewart Living I am holding on too. I liked your ideas.

Another thing you can do with those tiny bottles/pots.. I see you have spiderplant babies.. Cut one off and let it propagate in water, in these bottles. That looks cute as well :)

I organise my books in alphabetical order (of author's last name); it's the only way I can 100% know where to find a book. Your bookshelf looks great!

Your shelves are so neat! I like to organize my shelves thematically. Which isn't necessarily by genre. So my shelves mostly look like barely organized chaos to anyone who isn't me, but it's fine because I know exactly where all my "terrible chosen one character" books and "standalones I really liked" are

I love reorganisation videos ! Yours is really relaxing and make everyone else want to re do thier own shelves ahah If you need more space in your billy, at ikea you can buy extention who goes up to the selling, like that you can really use all the wall space and have max storaged :)

I usually organize my shelves by series (and/or author)/color themes! I've gotten lucky with the colors I have to work with, so it usually ends up looking pretty nice Alsooo, your Groot mug is soooooo cute! I love it

I like the visual appeal of rainbow shelves, but I could never do it myself. I have to have my read and unread books separated, and I would DIE having series split up. I also tend to organize by height even when not trying to. Also, I find the rainbow clashes with my typical aesthetic and wouldn’t really work in every area of the house as it’s a pretty bold pattern.

p.s. I actually have a big bookshelf, but only use two shelfes, out of four to store my books, because i need the rest of the space for school books and notebooks and other things. so, i tend to try to keep my ,fisical, book collection pretty small

I just found your channel a few days ago and have spent those days watching all your stuff and I just wanted to say I love your vibe and think you have a really unique style then a lot of other booktubers which is cool. Though on a completely unimportant side note every video I always end up confused about what color your hair is exactly.

if these are IKEA bookshelves, just buy an extension. For about 12 E you get another row to put on top of your shelf.

I organized mine but read and unread and then sub-categories for my read books it’s 5 star to 3 star (I don’t keep lower rated books) going from my shelf second from the top (my 5 and higher 4 star shelf) to the rest which have similarly rated books together and then for my unread shelves it’s most to least excited to read

I don't really organize my books by genre, kinda put them by publishing hause so the size is the same and however they look good to me. Since I have to make do with the little space I have, I stack some books and put even more on top so it looks a bit like a puzzle

These decorations make everything soooo *CUTE!* Is there anyway to have a big book shelf in a small apartment? Im soon hetting a small bed with a desk underneath..should put my shelf on the side of the bed ? So if i want to get a book, i go to the other side of my bed and ....yeah! Do u thinks its a good idea? Anyone can answer, i just want to know if its a good idea! Also new sub! Keep the great content up!
