I always love watching bookshelf organizing videos, I don't know what but it is so calming and it kinda makes me want to reorganize mine as well 😂 As for video ideas centered around the bookshelf, you have the Bookshelf Scavenger Hunt Tag and you could also ask for random numbers (like you do with your TBR) and talk about that book. Those are the once I have seen before and can think of right now.

I love seeing how others organize their shelves! :) I don't like bookshelf tours where each individual book is pulled out, I like when people do an overview and talk about their favorites/special memories/signed books, ect. So you doing an overview of your favorites is basically what I want in a tour. I don't know what other kind of bookshelf video to request, this was fun.

Ooooh. I think a bookshelf tag type video would totally work. That whole do I have that book, etc and then you tell us about the chosen book when the time is up. it's timed and crazy but looks like it would be a lot of fun.

Woah your background shelves have been almost the same since I found your channel I feel like back when you were even new to Booktube so it’s so strange seeing some of those oldies moved! 🤪 I really love the new setup though 👏🏻

If you don't like how it turns out, you can always put it back! But generally, I've always found that a change of shelves brings a weird peace of mind.

I love watching your thought process as you go about organizing your bookshelves. I did a reorganization of my bookshelves recently, and it was singularly the most difficult thing I had to do. The issue with my bookshelves is that I have way too many classics. They live on two shelves and now that I only have one bookcase, and I have many books. It was a difficult time, lol.

i can’t remember whose channel i saw it on, but they did a bookshelf video where they had their followers send a number/coordinates that corresponded with each book. they’d pull that book and just kind of talk about it. like, whether or not they’ve read it, what they thought, or why they haven’t read it yet. it was much more interesting / personal than a traditional bookshelf tour

I love shelf-organizing videos, so relaxing and satisfying. It's bugging the heck out of me that Uprooted, Spinning SIlver and Temeraire are all in completely different places, LOL. 😄

Cendaquenta Books lol I don’t always group by author and since those are all standalones with slightly different themes and not all favorites, they are separated

I really enjoyed this video! And I've done the same thing today... I needed (another) reorganization of my bookshelf because I've bought so many books in last 2 months that I kept them in boxes they came in -_- But finally I've found them a place! For now I'm satisfied (but currently I'm waiting for 4 new books...).

I have tried having a tbr shelf but I realized for myself it feels better to have books in series together and my different sections. Seeing all the books I haven't read just stresses me out and probably why avoid reading those books. Different strokes for different folks

This was so pleasant and satisfying! 90% of my books are now Library/virtual, and I do NOT miss my overwhelming numbers of books and bookshelves... Maybe someday I'll begin collecting again, when I'm in my forever home :)

I love that now each time I watch your videos (unless you change it again), I'll see the first book I picked up thanks to BookTube and you in particular. Once I saw the video you posted recommending The Tiger's Daughter I had to nab it and I may be only a few chapters in but I'm hooked.

Love it! For the post its, how about sticking them on the shelf in front of the book? Now that I'm writing this, I realize that whenever you would add a new book you'd have to change the post it too, so I decide to see it as an additional motivation to shrink your tbr ;D

The new setup looks awesome! I tried arranging my books by genre but I can’t deal with adding something new to my read shelves and mucking it up 😅 I just sort by author’s last name and my brain seems to handle it 😂

Suggestion? If you don't like different genres pressed together on the same shelf why not get book ends or some kind of ornament that acts like a visual partition within the shelves?

oh nooooo. now i want to do a HUGE unhaul and redo every shelf i have. i love the idea of having a tbr shelf, but honestly, it would probably be a tbr bookcase at this point..

This gave me such a craving to re-organise my shelves and I'm sad cause I don't have most of my books with me. They're at my parent's house since I've been moving pretty much every year for uni. Honestly, one of my greatest desires is to have a nice flat that I live in for more than a year at a time so I can have all my books with me. Just one more year to push through. I hope. Anyway, I very much enjoyed watching this.

I'm midway through the video ad it's freaking me out so much that she put "Uprooted" between her YA faves when it should be on the adult shelf, next to "Spinning Silver". I don't know why this bothers me, it's not my shelf and those are not my books LOL...*Just chill Lis*

I think your shelfs are a dream and it's ok if your book wants to chill next to the YA books. =) I think I was just freaking out 'cause I'm a bit weird about the order of certain things. Like I HAVE to have my coloured pencils ordered in a specific way in their box and stuff like that. (nervous laughter emoji)
