I picked up the Witchlands series because of your recommendations and I’ve really loved it! There is nothing better than finding a booktuber who’s reading tastes perfectly align with your own and that’s definitely what I’ve found with you and your channel!! Great recommendations all around

Have to say loved this video. And yes Sam you have recommended a vast majority that I have loved. I have read The Winner’s books, ACOMAF, Uprooted, Grisha books, and the witchland books because of your recommendations. I also have the night circus, the tigers daughter, and the sawkill girls on the TBR because of you. Thank you for all the hard work you do to produce your informative and entertaining content! Been here from the beginning and have enjoyed watching your content change and grow!

I have to say that BookTube has definitely increased the number of books I've read, but has also led me to favourites I wouldn't have encountered before. Starting my channel has kicked open the door to all these authors and subgenres I didn't know about. Now my TBR is impossibly huge 😂

I read Tiger's Daughter because you recommended it and boy, it is so good! I love how it's just Sefali and Shizuka constantly telling how much they love each other while fighting aganst evil. I'd never herad of the Gentlemen Bastards series before you talked about it, and now I just finnished the third book and it's just so good, Locke is such a well-rounded character. I think the next book I'm gonna read based on your recommendation is the Gilded Wolves and I'm so excited to start

I read The Night Circus because you recommended it, and LOVED it! I just recently read ACOTAR and didn’t love it, so didn’t know if I was going to continue the series. Most people say ACOMAF is the best book in the series, so maybe I’ll continue on. Also have The Fifth Season on my tbr! Congrats on five years! 😊

My favorite series I've read because of youtube are Six of Crows and Bear and the Nightingale - both were helped by your videos, but I'm in the habit of watching a lot of book tubers' videos before I buy a book or borrow it :'D this was a great video!

Haven't even finished the video but HAD to stop to say THANK YOU. You were the one I found out about Borne from and I LOVED IT! Read it quite a while ago, whenever your vid came out saying you had read it, just after that. It is one of the most unique books I have read! So glad it's on your all time faves! And also Gilded Wolves! This book is SO UNDERRATED!!! This book blew me away! And NO ONE talks about it! I see people selling it all the time and I don't think they have read it. I wish the would, it's AMAZING!

ACOMAF and the winner's curse are on my list too. I will probably forget some but : in the throne of glass series : crown of midnight and empire of storms, the whole kate daniels series ( especially the third and the seventh ), the six of crows series, A kingdom of flesh and fire by JLA, a song of ice and fire, the cruel prince and wicked king ( but not the last one ), the Rebecca Kean series ( it's french and I don't think it has been translated in english so probably nobody here will know it but ...

Same! I remember sad/tragic books more than I do happy books. I think it's because I weirdly like getting my heart broken by sorrowful fiction books and characters. I love your list of fave books, will definitely read the ones I have not read yet.

I found your channel earlier this year and you are the main reason I began my love affair with Roshani Chokshi's books. I was so happy when I saw the video you made for The Gilded Wolves because it gave me the confidence to pick it up after hearing your opinion on it. Most of the books you showed are on my top favorite list too. One that was recommended by you and catch myself thinking about it all the time is the Remnant Chronicles series, it's just all the things I love packed into it. Another favorite of mine is Howl's Moving Castle and Castle in the Air by Dianna Wynne Jones

I just finished The Remenant Chronicles Becuase you had mentioned it a video and it was the right amount of angst I didn't know I needed in my like Lia and Rafe forever. I listened to it on audiobook which has multiple narrators and the two guys who did Rafe and Kaden 😍 omg be still my heart. I also picked up the Ancestors trilogy because of you and I really enjoyed. To be honest it's your fault I've been craving all the angst in my Tbr and I am living for it.

Throughout this video I was amazed by how similar our favourite-lists are. Then I realised that I actually read the majority of them off your recommendations. You were the first booktuber I fell in love with and, among others, I read The Nightcircus, Daughter of Smoke and Bone, Lies of Locke Lamora, Mistborn and Station Eleven off your recommendations. All of which are favourites now. I have yet to pick up Borne, but seeing it on this list just got me extra excited to do so.

I agree the winner's crime is soooo sooooo sooooo good, the build up to the end is just everything haha, everytime I reread it I still need to put it down at times cuz I start getting stressed lol. I'm hoping to pick up lies of locke lamora soon because of ur recs :)

I love, love, love ACOMAF, but I was so surprised it made your list lol. Your channel led me to DOSAB and I will forever be grateful for that. I wish it had a different ending though. Laini Taylor has become one of my favorite authors.

Oh dear I hadn't realised I followed you for so long! I agree with a lot of those (Truthwitch...... they're just so good?? i read bloodwitch not long ago and it killed me) but i definitely didn't enjoy the tiger's daughter which made me super sad bc you were so enthusiastic about it and the premise sounded so good

I want to read all of those recommendations 😍 I’ve already have several of them at home and even more on my to buy list! I love that you are also a critical reader 😊 I totally agree with you that ACOMAF is the only real treasure from Sarah J. Maas 😅 I totally loved it. It was probably the reason that I started ToG, because I hoped to find some of that magic in it. Unfortunately I was disappointed 🤷‍♀️ Just ordered Muse of Nightmares from Laini Taylor. I loved Strange the Dreamer and definitely want to read the Daughter of Smoke and Bone series 😍

I wouldn't have picked up The Night Circus or Truthwitch if you haven't liked them so much. I had read another book by Dennard that I didn't like at all and the Night Circus was so slow that completely put me off; but I persisted with both of them thanks to your recommendation and I truly liked them now ! ^^

Daughter of Smoke and Bone. I read it because of your praise way back. I devoured it and loved it and treasured it because it was so wonderfully plotted, charactered (yes, I know) , written, and delivered. Then I was actually a bit disappointed that the other two were just...not.

I get extremely wary around hyped books, but I know you have really high standards, so when you recommend something and say it deserves the hype, I know that will be a good book. You haven't steered me wrong yet! There are quite a few books in this video I've either read or am planning to read directly because of your recommendation :)

I love how our taste is similar. You've GOT to read Into The Drowning Deep by Mira Grant (Seanan McGuire)! wlw, scientific team go to the Pacific to discover if sirens are real or not. Spoiler: they are. And they attack.

It pains me to see the Kiss of Deception Trilogy behind you but not mentioned by you T-T. That's one of the best YA fantasy trilogies ever and so underrated and bizarrely hated . At least it's well written unlike the popular ones like the cruel Prince or whatever. Anyway, I love how you are so expressive when describing your faves. The love shows ^^ . You're so convincing

Uprooted is one of my favorite books too. I have reread it numerous times. Love everything about that book. Keep hoping she writes a sequel to it that is equally good but what are the chances of that? lol I actually found your booktube channel looking for reviews of Uprooted. :)
