You have so many gorgeous editions of great books! My shelf is mostly full of worn secondhand editions of books, but I would love one day to update my favorites to nice shelf copies. I love watching shelf tours, so do please post more!

I love The Tenant of Wildfell Hall. I just read it recently, and I couldn't put it down! Those Brontes really new knew what was up. Can you imagine just hanging out with them for a day?

Hi Jean! I love the Faber & Faber poetry books, too -- I also have The Crow :) If you're looking for any recommendations, Sam Riviere's Kim Kardashian's Marriage is my all time fave.

Hey, I just noticed that on the cover of Public Library and Other Stories by Ali Smith is a still from La Chinoise (1967) (at least I'm pretty sure it's La Chinoise, it may be a different film with Jean-Pierre Leaud and Juliet Berto)!

Love watching bookshelf tours, especially when they contain really beautiful editions as this one does. Curious to know whether you put the Carys Bray short story collection next to the Kirsty Logan short story collection because of their really similar cover themes of destroyed houses.

+LettersAndLeaves just steal clear of the Kelvin Mackenzie book though - full of ingrained, subtle racism. I have since chucked it aha but the other 2 on that bottom shelf are great!

In Spanish, double L is pronounced as a Y. So, it's pronounced Ah-yen-day. ;-)

oh jesus, can i just warn you for american pshyco in case no one else has? it's horrifying, there are scenes that have disturbed me for life, and trigger warning for everything basically (esp violence and graphic sexual violence). Saying that, i'd be really interested in your opinion after you've read it... I still can't quite decide how I feel about it, apart from the general repulsion.
