Here we have a JLG 860 BoomLift with functions issues, functions real slow and stop certain functions from even engaging. Boom sensor calibration fixed all that.

Hey man, love the content. There’s not much out there for this kind of equipment! I’m working on a 2007 jlg 600aj w/ dual fuel GM engine. The problem is she starts and runs fine, but after it gets up to temperature it cuts out and won’t restart until it’s cooled off. So far- replaced fuel injectors, fuel filter (previous mechanic)

Hey you ever run into a fuse outage problem. Had this happen to me recently. Turned the whole Engine off on me and gave me a code 7 system failure

Wish genie boom lifts were that easy. I have one that won’t take a secondary boom calibration.

@@handymanny214 it’s a Z135/70 the secondary boom wouldn’t extend. Originally, it didn’t have any codes. After I tried a secondary boom calibration it wouldn’t take so it had a code for that and secondary boom switches fault.

I have a 600A that wont idle up from the basket. 1000lb light is lit. I haven't been able to find a diagnostic port any place on the basket or on the ground. Manual doesn't give any information that's usable. Any help? Guys at JLG don't know much.

How’s it going, I’m from Texas and yes I’m also working on a scissor lift service training class for beginners here in Texas and eventually do Pop up classes all over

My company based in California where I'm from also sent me to jlgs training in Pennsylvania for telehandlers great training their instructors are the call center dudes ya talk to on the phone who are also former mechanics at least mine use to be and would give out tips to some of the stuff he came across as a field tech ya can always see if your company send ya there I also think they have a tech training site/schools there in Texas too
