I had good results when boosting Facebook post for my business. Of course ever lead isn’t good but enough of them are good leads who become customers when you boost correct for a service that’s in demand

Yes just did this for our movie poster “ppp loan gone” it was organically gaining traffic so we boost it $100 a week, and we’re on week 2 now and on poster 2.3k reaction’s, 250 comments and 1.4k shares, I also think the content also matters if it’s appealing or relatable or not

You have more options now (6 instead of 3) and you can use custom audience too

Please make an updated video on this topic. A lot has changed regarding Facebook's "boost post" function since 2020. And the options for promoting an ad to promote a Facebook post has probably changed as well.

I mean honestly it just seems like a simplified ad manager. A newbie version if you will. I think thats totally fine if your a newbie or you dont need super tight margins. Im looking to build leads for my photography. I probaly will help to have more control but initially the limited features are actually more appealing (the less i have to focus on the faster i can learn it :)

That’s essentially what it is. It works just fine for some things. As long as you understand it’s limits and know when you need to use the ad manager you’ll be fine. If you’re generating leads I’d definitely recommend the ad manager though.

This is helpful since Facebook insists on treating any KZfaq video link I offer as a Messenger one So Dumb By the way I did all your steps and chose a post....and Call to Action is locked onto Send Message If I Create a Post, it worked

what about the payment on the next screen that is asking us for recurring and also allow META to be regulated by the FCA. it appears that we need to check both the options. Can't we bypass the recurring option since we have already fixed the end date and time as we have paid and selected the amount of how much and what we wanted our post to be boosted for?

We've been doing boosted post for a long time and we've been successful at it, however lately the reach has dropped down and the cost per click gone up, not sure why. If I use your method in this video, does it boos the original post or it creates a new one?

I have a little question .. on my fb business page I changed the location of my activity in Spain , looks that is changed but when I send the page to other people to give a like appears my ex location and moreover , When I post something new, my audience is 90% of my ex country. If I do it your method will it be the same comments on the promoted post (I mean, will it “mix” the comments with the originally posted organic post or does it work as a different post in this aspect?)? Yep, just choose ‘use existing post’ and select the organic post when you’re setting up the ad

I could do almost the same thing with boosting my post. I placed it on instagram (story, post) Facebook and messenger as well. I targeted audience and chose my own location. And my goal was to get more messages (I want people to join my Academy for SAT and IELTS). But I did not get as much engagement as I wanted. I’d probably go with traffic if you want to send people to YT. You could Try a video views campaign as well and see which one gets the cheaper clicks

I have a question that might be out of scope here, but it is related and I haven't found a way to solve it. When choosing an existing post for your ad I run into the following problem: When using a picture or uploaded video as the creative and not linking to an external website there is no way to write a headline. Which means, the resulting ad also doesn't have a headline. Do you happen to know how to solve that other than creating a separate ad and not choosing the existing post as the ad?
