Tactics which you can use to get a postdoctoral research position or postdoctoral fellowship or postdoc at a university, academic institute or research institution are given for doctorate degree students. Some resources to help in the search of postdoctoral fellowships are given and strategies for obtaining a postdoc position after graduate school are mentioned. A PhD, doctor of philosophy or doctorate degree is needed to do postdoctoral studies. Many faculty positions and professor jobs need a PhD degree holder to have completed a postdoctoral position to strengthen their CV or curriculum vitae.

@@Drganguli Sir, I found all 4 videos you referred very helpful. Yes, I have prepared the list of all the IITs, IIMs, pvt business schools who provide Doc in mgt. I have published 4 papers in international journals. Trying to approach some faculties (FMS- Delhi univ, IIMs) to publish papers with them in top journals on strategic mgt field to make my SOP better & also get some possible edge in interview. They are interested. Let's see. I will update you if will be able to get admitted some where. Thanks.

PhD is not linearly related to grades in college. It depends more on research aptitude, independent thinking and tenacity
