1997 Dodge RAM 1500 HEMI SWAP Pickup Truck Build | Part 15
We continue working on this 2nd gen dodge ram1500 truck with the 3rd gen hemi engine swap running the holley efi terminator x max ecu with the 8 speed transmission swap. In this episode we work on doing the reupholstery on the leather interior and carpet and also rebuild the 9.25 chrysler rear axle with the 3.92 gears and limited slip

This is my favorite project you’ve done so far. The hood, the cam, the gears, it’s a naturally-aspirated monster. You’re gonna love driving this. It’s gonna be totally different from the blue trucks and you’re gonna love it! Nice job!

Boy that rear end rebuild brings back memories…haha. I did mine in 2017 but added an Eaton trutrac worm drive posi unit, love it and no need for additive, just straight gear oil. I also had an issue with my drivers side axle shaft pitting where it rides on the outer bearing.

you should just get the dual foil backed jute padding from seconf skin it has foil o n front and backside it reflects outside heat while keeping inside the cab cool temp & the jute cuts down the sound from the exhaust drone.. second skin makes some premium sound deadener, they're out of tucson arizona & make so many different things for all ur sound deadening needs as well as & heat sheilds & heat barrier products

Sounds great job but definitely needs a nice paint job and decal kit... that project deserves to be back to show shine being a rare sst it ain't no Silverado or the jeep but then again that jeep is not easy to replace besides that petina thing is all played out works on 50s to mid 60s but not on muscle machines...nice work on the rear gear swap and set up 👌👍✌️

Pour fabric softener in the soap tank of your pressure washer. That will kill all the odors and it will smell nice for a long time.

Id spray lizard skin on it, it dampens sound and keeps the heat out a bit, or put boom mat down, or a similar product
