Over time boots don’t open as well as they did from new and sometimes squeak but replacing the gas struts that help lift the lid is an easy task.
This video shows you how to complete the job and have your boot opening quietly and easily.

Hello unfortunately not, I never had any issues with the oil filter housing leaking so haven’t needed to.

Z4 2.5 straight six, sounds better when you hit the road! Shame I had to sell it after having kids, might have to get another one when they are grown up.

Afraid so, I got away with a 2 seater with just 1 child but now I’ve got 2 I needed a family car. Won’t be getting another one until we have space on the driveway unfortunately!
