I love the wrinkles on the dublin. Sooo much character. Too bad not many bootmakers use that leather as much anymore

The wrinkling on the English Tan Dublin looks awesome and makes that an amazingly unique looking boot! I’d love to have a pair that looked like that!

Ya wow. I just got a pair of Dublin boots similar to those (I think they're chestnut Dublin though, so very slight color difference) and here's to hoping mine looks like that in a couple of years. @EDHblvd did you do anything specific to those Dublin boots? The way the leather is wrinkled and breaking is just so beautiful like wow.

Nicely done. Love the leather on all of them. Your thoughts are good ones. Your knowledge is impressive. Yes, my Overlanders have the Nicks brown 1964 leather. They're over a year old and still smell amazing. The bison is much more subdued, after only 2 months. Thanks for this post, it is a fun watch.

I have used the obenauf's on my boots but I literally destroy my boots in a years time. I do work in the concrete industry. I use the bick4 conditioner for my boots I don't want to darken. So many products definitely good you tried those out on a test piece of leather before going at your Nicks.

Oh I didn't know truman had single backstay boots like yours. All the boots they have on their site are two piece backstays.

All they ever sell now is the same 79 Last makeup. No variety. Just leather options.

@@EDHBlvd They still do 20 Last for their pre-orders for plain toe/moctoe. But you're only getting unstructured toes from the 79 last. I don't think I've seen any of their stock in options having unstructured toe.

@@EDHBlvd Truman has officially returned to 20 last single backstay designs for their stocked boots. I am seeing coach rambler and natural cypress now. Would be a nice time to rejoice if I didn't already preorder an upland

Is the natty dublin aging into an orange hue like the tan? Or is it browning like a natty CXL would? I’m curious about how differently tan and natty dublin age.

I’ve had the Natural Dublin longer, but I would say it’s getting richer in color. No so much orange like the English Tan, but more saturation than how they were when new. When they were new I felt they looked more yellow tan like the Natural Cypress.
