This is the boot sequence I use to startup the Pro Tools MIX TDM rig.

I had this exact system. My control room sounded like i was in a plane all day with all the fans running, but the system was rock solid and is still the most solid system I've worked on to date.

"Hold on bro, use that iso booth, otherwise you won't hear the vocal over the jet engines" lol. Sick rig.

Very cool setup. Sounds like a sever room. Must get pretty toasty in there with all that nice gear.

Happy to see an upload like this 😊🎉 thanks for sharing!
Nice setup. It's a shame you can't hear the Mac chime.

I once had a mix cube. I never liked pro tools 5, version 6 is more convenient and nice looking, but requires OSX, a powerful processor and a video card. I even converted a GeForce 5200 from a Mac G5 to a G4, for smoother rendering and a dvi interface.

@@GeneralDead1978might be why I prefer using Logic 6.4 as a front end for my TDM rig.

@@Arc.hitectureMusic yes, the Logic TDM is much more convenient, especially when it comes to MIDI. But I didn't have it(.

we are so spoiled with boot times these days

Nice setup! Have you considered an SSD boot drive for the MDD? I ran a Sonnet PCI Sata card and an SSD for quicker start up

@@trakliteproductions I have multiple SATA solutions for PPC Mac. The problem isn’t speed, it’s bus mastering that more important. I have no bandwidth control over SATA or IDE. ATTO SCSI cards have a digital audio mode that throttles the speed to 20MB/s, which leaves headroom for the 10 expansion cards in the chassis
