Talking about coming out from this challenge that life threw at you. I think that in the comments people are avoiding the obvious but kind of taboo question. What was the pain like. I'm asking because pain from serious motorbike accidents and other illnesses have taken me to some very dark places.... When you endure this exquisite pain and "see the light again" as I imagine you have it's like a lot of life's trivial burdens have ebbed away. That aside great to see you on a bike again doing what makes you happy. I'm convinced that handlebar thumb or lever brake with quick shift actuator being moved to a button module on bars could assist people with disabilities. 👍🏍

In some ways injuries are a kind of "Right of Passage" for riders. I'm 54 now and have been to hospital in an ambulance with broken bones 4 times now over my 44 years of riding and can honestly say my passion (obsession) for sportbikes has never been stronger. I currently own a RC-51, an 1199r and am awaiting delivery on a 2016 R1M. No tracks where I currently reside here on Maui but have gone through 3 sets of knee sliders riding Haleakala hwy. Never once have I contemplated giving up riding and hope I never will. Love you guys and ya'll have the best channel on KZfaq hands down! P.S. you're welcome to use my bikes if you ever find yourselves in Hawaii.

I had an IG video pop up the other day, a man in a wheelchair hopped up on a motocross bike and put his wheelchair on the back and rode off pulling wheelies, it was a proper motocross bike too, very impressive! :) I've seen such setups on more normal bikes never seen it on a proper motoX bike before.
