Well at those times there weren't really much use for big screens as there is now since there weren't really that many games and the only thing you could do was take notes and program on PCs. But yeah, even for programming it would be good to have a bigger screen.

Boy, this was way before the education and entertainment internet . No wonder back in the 80's most people found computers dull.
@dorian44263 жыл бұрын
People weren't interested in computers since they weren't out for the open and they were only for business and they were expensive. If you look closely, you'll notice that today's one of the most famous video game series, Metal Gear, came out in 1987. You chose a bad decade to mention in this comment, since Gates was trying to bring computers to our home at those times.
@michaelmcgee85433 жыл бұрын
@@dorian4426 I already knew this,but, back in 84 early home and compact computer s had no color,they were black and white . No entertainment internet. Oops ! I'm actually basing this on The horror movie Friday the 13th part 4. From the fiction level they had video games .I forgot that sequence . The kid who created masks. Then their was silent madness .The scene in which the women ,before she got murders was playing a cartoon video game,but, that was a professional video machine the film makers used. In real life when computers came out they were limited. On the other hand less people interested in computers less expensive. Today very expensive unless we have net neutrality and regulated big businesses to lower the prices ,rather than focusing on legally stealing money ,by over charging, on the upper middle,upper class consumer, making everyone else pay the same price.
