I know this an old video, but I just love how , in that "battle" at the end, Trapinch would eventually take down Mega Heracross, even if Trapinch only uses Mud Slap once per turn, thanks to Mega Heracross' one attacking move getting weaker the more damage it takes. So, if the bootlegers had left the HP alone, then it would have been a one-sided battle the other way around. xD

I can't imagine why! Who could ever have a problem with introducing fully evolved pokemon that you can play as if they were basic pokemon and so you can just slam one down on turn 1 with its (comparatively) huge HP value and high-powered attacks that dwarf those of the non-EX pokemon? Can't imagine how these kinds of things could turn someone away from the hobby /s

That trapinch will eventually win. By turn 18, the damage inflicted by the Mega Heracross will be reduced to 0, while the Trapinch will still have 4920 HP. It will take that Trapinch 2,200 turns to defeat the Mega Heracross, but in that period the Mega Heracross will be unable to attack.

Actually the dousing machine trainer is supposed to be a holo, out of all of the cards that is the one the bootleggers almost got right. The dousing machine is an ace spec card, which is a type of ultra rare trainer card that was printed just before the plasma era of cards. They were pretty desirable because you can only have 1 ace spec in your deck at a time, and most ace specs were pretty darn good. Dousing machine is one of the better ones and I actually played it in one of my decks for a time, and so as the owner of a real version of the card I can say for certain it is supposed to be a holo. The image you were looking at for reference just didn't show the holo-ness.

I'm surprised no one has pointed out where he said in the end that cards hp are multiplied by 10 when it looks like 100 would be more accurate. But I stopped collecting the cards after the first generation so maybe they've gone up a ridiculous amount by now. Either that or I missed something.
