Ngau Lam is a Cantonese dish that's also known as Cantonese Braised Beef Brisket. BunLaiLai might be referring to Bun Lai, who is a Hong Kong-born American chef. watching this video is as close to actually playing pokemon go as I've come in.....10-12 months.

I wonder if they actually intended the cards to be used with Top Trumps rules... On your turn, you look at the top card of your deck, choose a stat, then both players reveal the top card of their decks and the card with the higher value in that stat wins, putting both cards beneath their deck. In this case, you can just choose the RPS icon as one of the options. That would at least make it a game, and we've already seen from those other bootleg cards that the bootleggers have a strange fascination with Top Trumps...

I saw two cards like this in Majorca except neither of them were holographic, (but they were printed out like they were) they had different text fonts and they both came with a figure they pretend is an actual pokemon. The Vaporeon card came with a green angry octopus with tentacles on its face like Zoidberg and the Goldeen one came with a metal boiler ant with a candlestick on its back.

It makes you wonder if these were, like, twelve year olds who made this "game." I can't imagine something like literally taking screen caps from a mobile phone game and pasting them onto cards with no idea behind them couldn't have been done by children. It reminds me when I was a kid first learning how to use a printer, I'd take DBZ images from Google and past them onto various things. I just love that they were so lazy that they didn't bother to fix the nick-names they obviously gave the Pokemon before they decided to make them into cards. Quality stuff...

Phelaaaaaan. Give the cards an extra and careful look. Do any of them seem to be at an odd angle or just seem off? Besides that, with the color and image quality...I would safely bet that they actually used a CAMERA( or phone camera) to take shots off their screens ( yes, some people do this).

Been living in China for 5 years and I have seen these bootleg cards around in the schools for many different Japanese cartoons. I find the children only play these games as a way to gamble and show off how many they won from others. I saw MTG copies, yu gi oh, Sailor moon seems popular at the moment and they play the same way rock, paper, scissors even without the symbol.

I dunno, I've always been a gigantic Pokémon fan. Like since I was five, and I'm 21 now, so for about 16 years. Pokémon Go though was a bit harder for me. I'm in a wheelchair, and my friends and parents have jobs, and I have a chronic pain disorder so being out too long searching for Pokémon just wasn't in the cards for me. I'm glad a lot of other people still find a lot of joy with it though, I'll stick to the DS games and card games though.

If you ever do another Bootleg Pokemon Cards video, mainly a more "realistic" looking bootleg, you should address the black cardboard that official Pokemon cards use. Basically, the Pokemon Company puts a black piece of cardboard in their card that 99% of bootlegs don't do. So if you look very closely at the side of a Pokemon Card an official one will have a black line between two white lines and very rarely will a bootlegger.

wait these are fake? i won some at a carnival... wait why did i think these were real again? besides mine came in a box and even says nintendo and niantic inc on the back. and when i take them out of the box they have a completely original, completely shit back with pictures of different pokemon. it still has the rock paper scissors shit on it and as far as i know. none of them have made up names on the cards. and mine are made of stuff that is a bit worse than the normal pokemon stuff.
