About Borderlands:
Borderlands is an upcoming American science fiction action comedy film directed by Eli Roth, who co-wrote the screenplay with Joe Crombie, based on the video game series of the same name developed by Gearbox Software. It stars an ensemble cast featuring Cate Blanchett, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, Edgar Ramírez, Ariana Greenblatt, Bobby Lee, Florian Munteanu, Gina Gershon, and Jamie Lee Curtis.
Borderlands is set to be released in the United States on August 9, 2024, by Lionsgate.

I loved the game Boarderlands 2 and Claptrap was my favorite character. I think Jack Black’s rendition is just fine and reminds me enough of the original Claptrap (thanks to auto tuning). But it’s been a few years since I played the games, so my memory may be off. Regardless, can’t wait to see this film!! It looks like a lot of fun.

I have no idea of the game and I love this trailer, it looks delighetfully insane and derranged. Looks like a movie where you shut off your higher brain functions and just enjoy the ride.

I am a huge fan of the games and as such I am woefully disappointed with the casting, this is not to say that I don't think everyone is very talented bc they are, but they just don't fit the characters they are playing... I am hoping that seeing more may change my mind, but I'm not holding my breath for it... as for the music choice they already have bangers associated with the games they just should have used one of those like "no rest for the wicked" I both agree and disagree with the make it for the wider audience so changes must be made viewpoint, more eyes are always better... But why not both, let's use a marvel character for example, Deadpool was misrepresented so poorly and so far removed from his source material in his first appearance that it took ten years for a second chance with a comic accurate version, and it was great for both his diehard fans and the new eyes... There is a way to do both and this is what should have happened.

The biggest problem is these characters are well written. Especially in bl2. This happens alot on mpvies based on games. They water everything down to silly one liners where these storys could have been compeling and moving they go with a milktoast 2 hour music video. Thats why the fans are mad. We are tired of hollywood doing this. They disrespected rolands character completely.

It's going to be the last borderlands movies. I like tiny tina and tannis but the rest blah and the music gotta go maybe Pink Floyd or the doors definitely The Heavy would have been best the world looks good. Overall I don't think the movie will be successful oh also ClapTrap is good

This ain't it chief. The more I watch it the less I'm interested and I just started to realize that Lilith doesn't have here tattoos that signifiy she's a siren..... This was made for the most casual of movie goers, which isn't a bad thing but it's falling off for most true fans of the series.
