This caused the most physical reaction I’ve ever had while listening to music. This record took possession of me, and shook me for a minute. It felt like I was getting defibrillated. The record’s been over for a bit now, and I’m still shaking a bit. Holy shit, this was a journey.

I think the problem with most drone is how there usually isn't any substance to the music and it drags on for way to long. Thats not to say ive never enjoyed a sunn o))) im just throwing it out there. Boris uses drone to tell a story or to just completely melt your mind. If there were a ranking of best drone bands it would be boris top

relatively new boris fan here, been listening to them for around 3-4 months, havent heard this before. just saw them live on tuesday, going in blind. here we go. edit: uh wow ok. this was a trip for sure. i think the last track(s?) really makes this for me though. wata proving she never disappoints. ill have to give it a few more listens before i can say for sure but i still think for now i prefer feedbacker and flood over this. really great album though, and interesting concept with the 2 cds thing.

Interference Demon/The Evil One Which Sobs may be the only Boris track I can think of where Wata's claims that she's heavily influenced by David Gilmour are immediately obvious.

@@el_mal_de_ojo I saw the "Heavy Metal Me," DVD on a cocktail of (what my friend and I thought was bunk acid) acid, coke, weed, scotch, and a ton of beer. Needless to say the video for "The Evil One Which Sobs," and "Feedbacker," live, changed my life. That is a must if you ever get to watch that video while fried.

WOW, thanks for mixing this together! Everything Boris has done is INCREDIBLE,except Attention Please, New Album, half of Noise and those three boring other noise direction cds. Oh and W which sucks.
