The S-Type is just right in my opinion. Nice deep sound. Corsa is too high pitched and raspy. The loudest of the 3. The MBRP sounds restricted. Too muffled. The winner is Borla all the way.

Agree, Although Corsa is a close second, Borla sounds the best. About to install an S type on mine.

@@SamAndAdamsFishroom You won't regret it as I have the Borla S-Type axel back with X-Pipe, MAK Race pipes with 400CEL Thunderbolt High flow cats welded on the race pipes! The sound is just amazing, even better than the stock S-Type tone with zero drone!

@@peterwho9380 So a quick update, because I have a GT convertible a full cat back system was not feasible due to the underbody bracing, I went with a Flowmaster Outlaw axle back system, very aggressive sound with a loud deep rumble that reminds me of an old big block. Very satisfied overall.

They all sound amazing and very similar. As I've posted elsewhere, we have the MBRP street catback on our 2019 and for the sound and the cost savings, you can't beat it. We got ours for $949. It's a very nice clean low pitched rumble at idle, no drone on the highway (just made a 1600 mile round trip up north) but when you get on it, it screams. Not to mention the rev matching on the 19 really makes it come alive too!

All 3 sound really good love the tone. The MBRP seems to have a deeper tone then the other 2 which I really like

They all sounded a relatively similar, with slight changes in exhaust notes. But listening closely, borla sounds the best.

When long tubes are installed, MBRP maintains a better tone than the others in my opinion.

Borla sounded good but IMHO, the MBRP sounded best- deepest, too. Corsa was almost raspy and higher pitched than either the Borla or MBRP. Drone would be my question on all 3 before even considering a purchase.

None of these systems have any serious drone. The Corsa and Borla have none, the MBRP has a little on the highway but nothing bad.

I have the MBRP on my 18 and love it. Cost is right, look and finish too. Drone is a little on Highway, especially if you have a rear seat delete. But overall, I love mine,

I went a the corsa sport and their double h. The part I love the most is cruising is silent and it's pretty quiet until you hit 2.5k then it wakes up. Super useful when you wanna slip by cops. I had the s-type on my previous mustang. It was nice but I wasn't a fan of the in cabin noise on long highway trips

The corsa is the only system that fits the 15-17 with a Roush bumper and the 18-19.

I had the MBRP street (catback for sale) on my 2015. Sounds awesome but the cold start was just vicious (I work at 2am) with catless long tubes. For the sake of my neighbors and their newborn I put the OEM axleback on with an x pipe.

As a person with the Roush exhaust at first I thought the first one sounded like mine then I thought the second one sounded like mine but after hearing the mbrp I believe the last one sounds closest to mine definitely love the Roush exhaust

I installed a Long Tube Headers in my 2020 Mustang GT and sound to raspy with Borla S Type catback. Now with MBRP Street Version sound a lot better. The H pipe produce a deep tone and produce the muscle car sound than I love. Everything depend of preferences, all 3 catback are on the top on quality and sound.

Love the Borlas! Not sure which way I’m gonna end up going. Don’t plan on ever developing this car into a drag car but I do plan on driving my 2018 everyday for a long time. Need to find that mustang signature sound.

Dereck Souther I have an S Type on my S550 v6 Mustang. Deep below 4500RPM, and higher pitch above but still refine sound. It pops and crackles when you least expect it - sounds to my ears! Roush on the other hand is raspy high pitched. I could image how close to exotic sounding a GT beyond 4500RPM on an SType is. Borla!

I really wanted the Borla S type for my 18 GT but just couldn’t spare the thought of spending just over 15 hundred dollars for an exhaust.... that’s almost what I spent for new wheels and tires lol I ended up going with the MBRP and have no second thoughts.

Frank arancio that’s what I use to think but after about a year of owning it, it just drones way to much on highway I might swap to corsa just for the fact that I could cruise it on the highway

Here in Canada the Borla S-Type Catback system for a 2019 GT with Active Exhaust costs around $2300. In 2015 I paid $1000 installed for one. Holly price increase

They shouldnt considering their price. They sound ok but to me theyre way overpriced and way overhyped. The borla sounds best to me between these but with catless headers may be a bit much...id go mbrp street or magnaflow street with catless headers.

I feel like corsa is overrated and everyone gets it with x pipe, it’s way to raspy! MBRP is actually better for the money imo, unless you don’t like the crackles I can understand. I myself have roush with MRT h pipe and it’s obnoxious I love it

@@cjponyparts pretty good is an understatement, borla is top of the line. I'm searching for the perfect 15 or 16 mustang gt premium to buy, and soon as I get it I'm slapping on those borla s type cat backs, with x pipe. How about cj pony give me a 'pretty' discount when I make this purchase.
