I loved every aspect of this hunt from the planning, to the calling and harvest, to the camaraderie around the fire. Not to mention some beautiful country and a nice bull. This is what Elk hunting is all about!!!

First impression: kudos to Kody for having the patience and fortitude to brave Idaho’s new system for allocating “over-the-counter” nonresident elk tags. I’m a resident and can’t imagine having to deal with that nightmare. It’s got to get fixed. Second impression: I’m guessing the hold on the phone to get the tag was longer than your hunt. Congrats.

This is by far my favorite hunting video ever posted! I’m stationed overseas and can’t hunt right now but this makes me appreciate hunting and being in the outdoors more than ever. It’s the little things in life that counts. Thank you for sharing these experiences. I truly can’t wait to come back home and chase some Roosevelt 🤙🏼

Born and raised in north Idaho my friends!! Miss the good old days when those bulls were everywhere.. You would go cut a load of wood start your chain saw bull would bugle. Slam your truck door bull would bugle.. You have no idea how much I miss those days no four wheelers utvs toy haulers.. Wow how times have changed.. Cat road shuffle was always the deal..

I'm sorry to hear about Braydon! He must've passed a couple weeks after my mom, and about the same time as my girlfriend's mom. My mom was 6 months ago, yesterday. What a great video! Steve worked bull perfectly! You set that up perfect!

Congratulations Kody on a great bull! It's crazy how fast it can happen, sometimes after days of nothing. During those days, it sure is nice to have some good buddies to help keep your spirits up and your drive high. I also appreciate your keeping it real with the comment about how hard it is to keep going for the whole season. It is a grind, and if you haven't done it, it's hard to realize just how much of a grind it can be. Thanks for another great video, and good luck Steve!

Excellent harvest gentlemen, like he was reeled in on the string. I'm no expert on elk, but I'm figuring he was a dandy bull, and hunts don't usually go that well...lol Love what ya'll are doing ❤️ Sad to hear the closer about the passing of the young man, it's always a hard time for family and friends. Prayers to both involved.

Nice shot on a nice bull! I had a friend tell me to watch the video and make sure to watch it al the way through. Braden was a big fan of what you guys do… I remember him sending me pictures of his elk shed display for your guys’ event at old 99 and I remember when he worked at Waldrons fletching up arrows over 10 years ago. Although he never liked to brag about it, he was a pretty successful hunter and a world class archer. Keep up the good work! 🙏🏼

Kody had a heck of a year. Congratulations on a great bull. I haven't dealt with Idaho's new system but Utah has something similar with there over the counter general bull tags. You can literally spend half a day online waiting in the queue.If you lose your spot or they get to you and you aren't there forget it.
