These big bosch GBH8-45D Hammers are one of the best boaring hammers on the market.
Bosch have always been top for hard hitting hammers. This is a inbetween size of the gbh5 and gsh11e.
They are more comfortable and practical compared to the GSH11E, but they are also more complicated meaning you don't get the Same longevity out of them.
the only boadung hammer after this model is a the GBH12-52DV.
Not sure what caused this gear to brake a tooth. Maybe they are simply to hard.
This one simple fault can be very expensive to repair outside warrenty.
The eccentric gear assembly costs 100 euro on it's own, the service pack costs 80 and the clutch to buy is 150 euro. Plus your time, grease, bearings, ECT.
