I'd say mainwash inlet valve or motor pcb (given by the rubbed off Bosch logo I'd say it's been used alot and I've read about these inverter modules like to go bad quickly). Such a shame for such a new machine. The inverter motors usually don't break, that's why lots of brands give 10 years warranty on the motor only.

Disappointing to see something so new to already be broken. Kinda why I prefer getting older machines as they normally have less to go wrong and are more repairable! But this probably is fixable as it may just be a motor issue

Indeed, and I agree with you. Older machines tend to show their faults, if they are worn etc. Hopefully this one is easy.

Close the door and then you turn it to 90, press&hold rpm button and turn dial to easy care 30 and then release the rpm button and then turn the dial back to cotton 20. It should show the errorcode stored. If this doesn't work try this: turn it to spin and then press&hold rpm button and turn it to wool. This is the service mode but it should show you the last errorcode stored. P:03 is the motor test program. Pretty sure the pcb is knackered tho. Known issue on Bosch/Siemens washing machines with inverter motors.

I would image the "Water inlet valve may have failed" for one of the fills ... they sometimes do fail on boschs... u could actually swop over from an old bosch just to rule it out :) i think the door interlock is ok - but also that drain pump sounds terrible!!! the clicking is weird... but it defo doesnt seem to be kicking into fill up with water apart from that first burst.. the motor bushes could be buggered to ..

Maybe the relay is broken ? Just like in one of yours solar inverters (clicks, but doesn"t maintain proper contact)

blocked or faulty water valve, Maybe?. Well worth checking out and repairing.

It may be the main wash inlet valve, it seems to fill through prewash and give up with the main wash one. Try resetting it and doing spin only and see if it goes on that. If not it's probably a motor pcb fault

My Serie 6 which is very similar to this it doesn't click a relay when the motor starts turning as it's the ecosilence motor not controlled by just a relay, so I don't think that clicking noise is the motor trying to turn

Yeah, I thought that about the motor controller, but the inlet wouldn't have a big clicking relay would it? I can check on a spin drain cycle.

@@bootsowen if the spin cycle works, then try swapping the inlet valves connectors round to see if it's an issue with the actual valve or the PCB not sending voltage to it

Had a similar Bosch machine in for repair, faulty inverter motor drive pcb, traced the fault on the pcb to a blown microcontroller, (use freeze spray you'll see it gets red hot in seconds).Microcontroller is programmed with firmware and part is not available. TL:DR requires replacement inverter pcb making this repair not economic, strip for parts

It’s a 3 phase induction motor on these the motors themselves are pretty reliable it’s the motor control board that ends up failing efficiently writing off the machine

Yes, I can't imagine burning out one of these motors in 3 years, nothing to go wrong, I'll take a look at it and the board.

If you were trying to fill the water with a hose from the outside, if the engine started to spin when water was drawn from the outside, we would say that the water valve was faulty.

@@bootsowen if you think the problem is with the motor you should check the motor control module. Because in this type of BLDC motors, the card usually fails and the probability of the motor breaking down is low.

Definitely inverter board fills through pre wash then tunrs then advances to main wash see so many of these failing at work it's unbelievable and totally unacceptable In my opinion

well it seems like inverter board is working because the relay is clicking which is sending voltage to the motor yet its not turning. pretty sure is motor is toast

I'm sorry but that diagnosis is such a shot in the dark. Just because it clicks, it doesn't mean that it's fully working or anywhere near that even. What it could mean though is that the inverter module is trying to boot yet failing, and it does this on a continuous loop hence the continuous clicking. It is also worth mentioning that the inverter module turns on/boots up whenever you start a program (hence the initial click, not talking about the doorlock) and stays on throughout the entire wash cycle, and turns off at the end of the cycle (you can also hear a click right before the doorlock goes off). Considering that, there should be no clicks in between that is related to the inverter module in BSH made machines, not to my knowledge anyway...

I can say for my experiences that new washers are a shame, This broken bosch and my beko which doesnt reach 1 year and is going to die, Why? well... a lot of times when we start a wash cycle it starts spining and draining... but dont wash, prob a PCB failure, also a lot of times is moves a lot (when is a balanced floor and not overload) so yeah, If you buy washers, buy old ones, our last washer was James and bearings dead only, but still working! PD: I check sounds of the washer and drum does a weird noise as Tac Tac Tac, may bearings or spider going to die too?, R.I.P 400 Dollars
