Super helpful video. Instead of paying $160 for a service call, then $20 for every six minutes of labor ($200/hour), and a $200 drain pump (that was out of stock anyway), I found a drain pump online for $55 and watched this video and installed it myself. Now our 15-year-old washing machine works again! Thanks!

Thank you so much for the video. I didn’t need to replace the pump luckily. I just had to clean out the “filter” area (coins, paper clip and a bra pad!). Washer worked immediately!

Excellent video I have a 300 vision series. Exact location for the pump and easy access. I removed the pump found a 3/8's pebble in the pump, removed it and removed the pump, disassembled and cleaned out further. Ohmed the motor and reinstalled the pump and it is working. Thanks a Million. Your a good man

The rubber feet do not need to be cut. With enough conviction and two hands, you can slide the pump out. It helps to see how the feet are oriented in this video. Grab the whole pump and push hard and while wiggling back. It helps to also push the feet from the underneath side of the washer if you can fit you hand there. I wash able to remove the pump, and then replace just the motor, and then slide it back into place without destroying the original rubber feet.

This was a perfectly detailed, clear and easy to follow DIY job. We just figured out that the problem with our Bosch washer in our new home was a clogged drain pump and the previous owner did not take proper care of it at all and the pump is completely unusable. Just ordered a new replacement drain pump motor assembly and are going to use your video to replace it ourselves. Thank you so much!

I'm having trouble getting the kickplate off. The screws are out, but it won't budge! I need to know specifically which direction to push or pull before I end up breaking it. I'm searching online but I can't find any data on this washer.

Hi. The top hose for wouldn’t push back in. It’s a 3rd party pump as OEM out of stock. Is it possible the inner diameter is wrong? How to make it fit? Ugh. It’s the right model. I’m stuck.

I replaced my pump about 2 years ago, now it is giving me the same code, but no humming from the pump this time, if I drain the water from the washer and hit the drain cycle, it will cycle through the whole thing and it will not give me any code. Is it a bad pump again? Thanks

Holy hell, that kick plate did not want to come off. The screws were torqued in by the incredible hulk and he must have put glue on under that. Never buying a Bosch again.
