Bosch WFO2466 motor brushes

This is a WFO2466GB07 model. In this video I show you how to remove and replace the motor and brushes on a Bosch washing machine. Most Bosch washing machines in my experience are identical. The fault usually manifests itself with sparking at the motor and possibly blowing a circuit breaker in your homes power supply.

Yep, if the old ones were soft the dust melts down and goes everywhere, a speck of dust goes everywhere if you touch it.

Put motor bottom silly make it harder move around why never kept them top might be changed the design

I did an aeg teardown a while ago. Completely rotten spider. I thought they were good. I guess they are the same as Bosch and Siemens!

bootsowen Siemens and Bosch are mercedes compared to AEG. AEG is not German any more as Italian Electrolux bought them so their quality is ruined completely :)

I dunno anymore. Old Bosch and Siemens were good. As were old AEG machines I think. I looked inside a recent Bosch washer recently and thought it was a bit cheap. Someone commented that they are assembled in Spain. I think they are all getting cheaper and lighter in the race for energy efficiency. I’d rather keep an old one going than buy a new one. Speaking about cars. I was in an almost new exec BMW today. Both of the headrests had popped out for safety from the proximity sensors on the rear when the back bumper got too near a wall. Garage reset required and doubtless a few hundred. Seems to me that this is happening too with washers. That aqualtis had a plug socket on it so that it can feed back to a service engineer. The old ones are still better in my mind. I’d stick to mechanical timer switches if I had my way.
