Hey guys, a few of you have been asking exactly what settings I changed when I optimised the settings. I turned up the bass to 50, increased the centre channel to 30 and performed the Adaptiq tuning process. Hope that helps! Thanks for your continued support.

I’ve been looking for this so I figured I’d share my settings. My ceiling is maybe 8’ tall and my media room is 30’x 17’. Center: 60 Height: 60 Bass: 40 Treble: 60 700 Omni Rear Speakers: 80 700 Bass Module: 50 The sound is rich and immersive.

@@maheshg212 Do the adaptiq first then adjust the settings. The microphone is adjusting the directional sound to your preferred seating. Then you adjust to what your ears like.

Just picked it up, upgraded from the 600 to the 900. We’ve added the surround speakers for the extra sounds makes a great difference. Also we have the 500 module which gives it that double punch. We set our center around 20 and juiced up the surround 60 gives an immersed feeling. Bass module stays around 50-70. Height stays around 40-60 bass 20 on the 900, and treble 20-40

I just upgraded from Sony 300€ soundbar with subwofer and 2 small speakers to bose 900+700 bass absolutely speechless. Never heard something like that and i already own earbuds quiet comfort and 500 smart speaker from bose.

@@kellbenlewis5270 I would definitely add the base module first. You don’t need to add the surrounds…but with them it’s an added bonus. The surrounds are very expensive for what they are…you will be very happy with just the sound bar and base.

If anyone is deciding on Bose or SONOS..I prefer Bose. I have the 300 and it gives all the streaming features I need. Only unless you are into the SONOS ecosystem I don't see a reason not to go Bose. The bugs aren't that bad esp if you are using the soundbar/surrounds by themselves.

I just got the Sonos surround system and 77 inch lg c1. The tv is phenomenal and I would 100% recommend buying it. Sonos? Not so sure. It ended up being roughly, 900+800+300= £2k and dolby atmos music is cool (yet to check out movies) but that music is only accessible through apple tv and not just simply iphone. If I could spend more money but get something better - I would. Maybe have to give it more time. But so far I cannot say that Sonos surround system is mindblowing. It is the “Haha, nice” when you have proper content to go with it. Which is still extremely rare

I have the Bose 900 soundbar with sub and surround speakers. It was hard for me to hear the atmos sound from the soundbar when rear speakers were active but when I shut off the rears on the app you could hear the atmos effect much better. With the Atmos you don't need the rear speakers since the atmos gives the surround effect

I feel that your reviews are thorough to the point and unbiased. I didn’t want mine to be “discreet” so I ordered it in white. Its coming Wednesday I can’t wait I sold my 700 this is for a bedroom set up hopefully I won’t need a sub I do have the arc in my living room set up with a sub and surrounds. You didn’t mention that the Bose sound bar has better integration with Alexa then Sonos you can get notifications with the Bose you can’t with Sonos.

My biggest issue with Bose, was their change of eco system. The newer speakers do not link with the prior ones and have a separate app. So building a home system is now not as possible as before.

Thanks for the review. I took this video into consideration when shopping for soundbars. We purchased the Bose 900 with a bass module 700 and really enjoy it. My wife and I had a very slight preference for the Sonos Arc in terms of sound, but went with Bose because of the aesthetic. It looks great, sounds great and is easy to use. (Big plus when kids want to watch a movie or play games)

@@gary_michael_flanagan_wildlife You can add the Surrounds 700 speakers! In the Bose App turn up the rear speakers around 70-80 after doing the ADAPTiQ. IMO it makes the system complete!

@@gary_michael_flanagan_wildlife My daughter has just the Bose 900 soundbar and the Base Module 700 and it’s really good! I love the clarity and detail of the sound bar and the sub just adds to the fullness! Idk about the 650 system so I can’t comment on that. You can always buy the sound bar with the sub and try it out and if you are not satisfied, bring it back during the return period.

Hello, I tried both 700 and 900. I had 700 for 3 yeard and then i tried 900. It seems that in 900 the sounds has more "high" than mid and low mid than 700. Especially with music the sounds seems more "compact" and full with 700 than 900. Might 700 be better than 900 for music? Thanks

Great informative video! 🔥 I’m still rocking the Sound-touch 300, acoustimas 300 and surround speakers. I still absolutely love it! Still to this day I’m blown away by the sound this system produces. I have the same setup. Last week, when visited Bose website, they offered $250 trade-in + an additional 10% for my 300 in exchange for 900 and signed up for it. Great to know 900 works with my existing 300 speakers and bass module. Waiting to receive 900, and hopefully, it's worth the upgrade.

Bose’s employs patented PhaseGuide technology that sends sound out to the far left and right that replaces the need for "dedicated sideways drivers". These Phaseguide speaker are left and right of the five drivers in the front of the 700 and 900.

Bose Soundbar 900'ü 1 haftadır kullanıyorum.. Sonuç Mükemmel. onlarca 2+1, stereo, Dolby atmos, 5+1 sistem deneyimledim. Ancak bu cihaz çok farklı TV ile tam entegre olarak çalışıyor. Sisteme ilave olarak Surround hoparlör ve bas modülü ekleyebilirsiniz ancak hiç ama hiç gerek yok zaten soundbar tipi hoparlöre geçmenin sebebi kablo karmaşasından kurtulmak değilmidir tek çubukla bu işi bitirmenin mutluluğunu yaşıyorum. Filmlerde ne kadar mükemmel olduğunu yazmaya gerek yok Ben Müzikte de çok çok çok başarılı buldum. Resmen bir opera salonunda gibi his veriyor Kur kaynaklı biraz pahalı olsa da Alacak arkadaşlara kötü bir sistem almak parayı çöpe atmak yerine şiddetle tavsiye ediyorum

Cost. Taking supply chain issues and inflation into account, the bar would probably >$899.99 with the universal remote.

My older Samsung tv has CEC issues using ARC I’m guessing it is because the tv is ARC2.0 and The Bose is 2.1. Bose does warn you that this could be a problem using older TVs. I am using both ARC and optical connections to get around this issue till I get a newer tv with ARC 2.1.

Love your video. I returned my bose 900 as still debating between Sonos Arc and Bose 900 full setup vs Sony HTA9. If you can compare this system side by side , would be great as it’s long term investment. Here are my quick comparison on Sonos and Bose. 1) both systems won’t disappoint you however I found Bose had better soundstage while Sonos had better clarity. 2) Bose 900 bar alone seems more powerful then sonos but sonos seems overall better due to side firing speaker , extra width and 2 extra driver. 3) sonos Sub is better in a sense that it doesn’t rock your hardwood floor, Bose is really powerful with quite port tech and no distortion even at higher volume but shakes the floor. For day to day use thought sonos seems to have less power but seems easy to live with. I really appreciate want to see full comparison of Bose and Sonos with sub and rear VS ht a9 with sub. I currently use Sony 75 TV but not reluctant on long term durability of Sony VS Bose and Sonos. Please please advise as I am in market for either of this 3 system.

So how do you connect these to a projector? How can you make them wirelessly communicate with a projector / laptop?

Hey Peter. You can connect your Laptop to the Soundbar via Bluetooth and then turn the projector sound off so you're not getting an echo. The other way I'd suggest is getting an Apple TV or Nvidia Shield paired with an Arcana HD Fury which will give you dolby atmos and then send the video to the projector through a long HDMI cable or HDMI Extender. This will give you the best performance. I'll be doing a video on how to connect your projector soon. Hope this helps. Cheers.

Great thing about Bose is you know your money goes the distance because their products last a very long time. I still have the original st300 with two bass modules and surround speakers. It sounds amazing Imo and Bose profiles are some of the best for plug and play listening. If I had another room to put the st300 I think I would get this new 900. Thanks for the review.

I just purchased this system with the 700 sub the problem I have with Sonos is the software issue. The system is so tied to software that when Sonos decides they want you to upgrade they simply stop giving the hardware software updates. It’s happened with that company already and I believe the company was sued for it.

This video helped me a lot as i recently broke my bose soundbar 700 and the service centre in India was saying that they won't be able to fix it but give me 20 percent discount on any bose product i heard that bose has launched a new sound bar but after watching the video i knew i had to get the sound bar 900 and i also say if i could connect it to my previous base module 700 and surround speaker 700 and the answer was yes thans now i could easily chose the sound bar 900

If I have rear speakers also some of the sound that would come from the soundbar without them would now come from the rear speakers perhaps making the sound less muddy? I’m coming from a soundtouch 300 so I’m hoping this is a big improvement to the 900!

I got the 700’s all around. I was thinking about the 900 but the sound is so good I don’t think it’s worth the upgrade yet maybe if they bring in a 900 series sub

I have 900 and from what I heard the main difference between 900 and 700 is the dolby atmos but for me is a big difference I have the hole set up and when you watch something whit dolby atmos is another level

Is it possible to pair two Bose sound bars to the same subwoofer? I already have a Bose and subwoofer on one television. The second tv is in the same room (game room). If I place a Bose sound bar on it, can it go off the subwoofer I have already?

Sir I’m listening to this through my beats headphones and I love the second sound please tell me the exact numbers your speaker sound is on as it relates to the bass, center channel and treble, I currently have the Bose 300 speaker and I just ordered the 900 so please give me the numbers you used for the 900 thank you💜💋💋💋🌹🌹🌹

Awesome video as always. I’m in the market to pick up either the Bose 900 surround set up and sonos arc surround set up but I am also looking closely at the Sony HT-A9. Would love to see a comprehensive comparison between all three. And sure chuck in the Samsung Q990B!! Please.

So if I have Xbox series x and ps5 will one when I watch my blu rays can’t I just set my Xbox to 5.1 uncompressed audio? And maybe not miss dts so much?
