From the moment they are selected from the breeder they are in a truck like this at the least weekly. The biggest problem is the stupid people sticking their selfie sticks in the face of the horse and in front. That woman in hijab has now been told to move behind the rope 3 times.

Such stunning horses. The red tack they wear is so striking against their gleaming black coats. I love hearing the Guards constantly praising them with "Good boy!" Very impressive.

I know King Charles is on the Throne now. But any event that involved Horses, Queen Elizabeth was there. She was quite the horse woman. Watching this video makes me miss her all the more. She would be proud of the Troopers and Horses, today. 💐🪻🌷

@@andreebesseau6995 they’re sitting on a horse, that’s standing on a public footpath in one of London’s busiest tourist areas Their ‘work’ is to sit for an hour and watch the traffic go by They aren’t actually guarding anything because they aren’t Military Police, or Regimental Military Police or MOD Security Guards People have been petting those horses for years.

I have grown up with and still live with majestic horses both tamed as well as wild.❤❤❤❤ I have always been amazed at the large animals that live only on hay, leaves and such. Lol Also I have always been concerned about them with their spindley legs carrying so much weight. Lol

As it's military season and Trooping the Colour is happening in June their holiday comes after when they go to Norfolk for a summer camp and ride and play on the beach and in the sea . They do get regular turnouts to grass in Melton Mowbray .

These are precious animals and members of the King's Army. They get the best of everything and care is taken that they are happy as a horse can be, including 2 weeks vacation at the beach. 🥰

I walked past a few years back and said to a mounted soldier "you must be crawling with m@nge" - I got a chuckle at least! I'm used to seeing them early working out in green park, I help by calling them names to motivate them 😂 I'm at the age I can get away with it Now! There good lads 👍

It's not a martingale , there's no saddle for one , it's a tether rope , in ceremonial kit it's a bright chain .
