Can this be used without plugging in a guitar ? For example, can a vocalist set the key of the song with the key dial and get the right harmony without an instrument being connected ?

thank you for your question mate, if you have a boss ve-2 and you want to run them into battery, boss ve-2 can run 4x of double A battery and if you have like any boss pedal you can use their psu to boss ve-2.

if you have a boss pedal with the 9 volt power supply you can use them to your v2

In they key knob, I want a put a minor key, but I can’t ‘cause they’re all in major keys. Do you know how to solve it?

minor key is relative to major example your in Em the relative major is G so you can put in G chord..Bm is relative to D ..etc..

thank you for watching this video, yeah you can connect this unit to boss rc30 or 300, mine in connected to rc300. the XLR out of boss ve2 is going to your rc30 instrument IN.

I have that also. Just for added. You can use that as audio interface, with out mixer at the back of your gadget there is usb input you can connect in loptop.. you can use it in recording.. You dont need to buy soundcard or any audio interface gadget.

The harmonies sound out of tune. Is there an accuracy button like some of the others. I feel like the accuracy is off. Otherwise amazing review. It's just so hard to get a vocal pedal where the harmonies sound pretty much perfect. driving me nuts researching atm lol

Hi! Can you use this pedal as an audio interface on reaper? As if it were a maudio, presonus, in short, interfaces on the market, with no latency and no noise?

Im afraid no mate, this is only a harmonizer, like if you sing with this they give you like a second and a third voice, like above and below voice, thank you

Saw the TC electronics one does my main concern is that it creates a true sounding voice and not a octive ish buzz but that might be asking a lot

This is good. A bit too repetitious. And “octave” is used incorrectly. Better to use “1st harmony. 2nd harmony to define Harmony. (Octaves are not harmonious!)

great tutorial yet, the harmonizer doesnt get the harmonies right. i think it would be ideal if using a guitar so it can find the key. but only witth voice its not accurate
