@@miriamharkai3686 This was way back in the 90's. I got out and never went back. Don't feel sorry for me though. I sort of knew what I was getting into at the time. It's all in the past. My ex married someone else and she has a bunch of kids and they both have a ton of grand kids.

@@anonymousstrangeness7348 Yeah it was a toxic relationship. Even though my ex and I loved each other, he couldn't understand why I didn't love his kids. I tried to get along with them but my ex wouldn't allow me to tell them what to do. There was a lot of arguing. I was not the best parent to my own kids but my ex was a complete failure and I think he knew it. He couldn't cope with his failures.

I have a story similar to that, but it wasn't bad, just funny! When my now fiance and I first became boyfriend and girlfriend, in college, I went over to his dorm room, one night after dinner. He had a roommate (who is a sweetheart) who was pretty much involved in every organization on campus. The dorm rooms had two beds, two chests of drawers, and two large desks, in one big room. There was a clear divide between my fiance's side of the room and his roommate's side. His roommate had every available inch, including on top of his bed, piled, halfway to the ceiling with laundry detergents, books, notebooks, paper, pens, pencils, soaps, shampoos, plates, clothes, towels, toilet paper, etc. If you can imagine an entire household worth of stuff, that is what he had crammed and piled into his 5 foot wide space! The polar opposite of that was: this guy was extremely neat in his appearance. His clothes looked very nice and were never wrinkled, he wore a neatly tied bow tie, a lot of the time, his hair was perfect, his socks seemed to be ironed, his shoes were shiny, and his teeth were a blinding white!

Watched a child smacking objects with wrapping paper and then put it back yesterday at Target. Mom did nothing.

I can't imagine what that poor child goes through every day. Hopefully the right people see this and take these abused children and babies away. Some people should not breed.

I wonder at taking a photo before helping the kid. As parents, I think most of us at one point or another want to throw a kid throw a window or something. The point is not to do that, to learn and cope. I think most parents have to learn this lesson. I know I did / do.

Or buy an all electric car. 6 solar panels on my roof and be it's FREE and you don't have to visit nasty gas stations.

I hope that kid is safe now, away from the abuse.

It is kinder to tell people when they're f*cking up so they can change it, rather than pretending to live as a holier than thou, never "criticising" those who make life hell for others. You aren't perfect, hence the need to tell people or they won't learn. Speak up, and if it happens to you, thank the person who puts you in your place too.
