In this Slay the Spire gameplay, Baalorlord does an Ascension 20 run with Ironclad. First, he gives tips on choosing a path and a starting bonus. Later on, he explains his decision for each card he chooses and why it's important to the build. Towards the end, he gears up for an epic Heart fight you don't want to miss. I use a few mods for Slay the Spire. All of them are Quality-of-Life improvements and do not have any effect on the gameplay. Here are all of the mods I have active:
Slay the Relics Exporter, used for the live stream: steamcommunity...
Relic Stats, to keep track of how many times the relic effects happened: steamcommunity...
UI Sliders, to reposition the Discard and Exhaust piles, so that they are not hidden behind the camera: steamcommunity...
Run History Plus, giving us more info in the Run Summary screen about the run: steamcommunity...
Map Marks, for path highlighting - here, typically, Green means an easy, intended path, and Orange or Red means a harder path that I might take if I get good rewards: github.com/cas...

I am so proud of myself. I saw the duplicate pot + defend line before it was suggested by chat. I did the math and realized it worked to protect the buffer. Though when Baalor didn't immediately play it, I assumed it was a garbage line. lol

After watching your ironclad runs, I managed to finally snag my first A6 win! I was desperately battling and searching for a dark embrace, but I just had to manage without it. It was a damage race. Thankfully, I learned in those situations to not play corruption too fast, and to save my reaper for the right moments.

1:11:26 wow I just feel like this is so out of character for Baalor but man is it funny to see! 😂 “good luck to me” as he throws caution to the wind and prays for a good outcome. That’s the kind of play I make against this guy. It works out most of the time.

Hey guys! I see you keep asking, he has a channel "Baalorlord Unedited" where he post all his Twitch lives, yes they are up to date. Each one has the STREAK in the title. Currently it was at 0. His best is 20. Idk why he doesnt want to say it in description or leave a link but hope yall see this

A20 checked off on all characters except watcher. I got a fasting, pellets run started now. Also have rush down already, so I'm wondering do I put halts and flurry of blows in my deck or? I already have an empty fist and sand of time (floor 1 reward, or else I wouldn't have added)

Just noticed you have fasting! Halt works great with empty fist since you can get all the upsides of being in wrath with none of the downsides, and the dexterity from fasting works twice on halt.

@tripwire202 whenever I get runic pyramid on watcher I immediately start trying to go infinite with rushdown, eruption/tantrum, the 1 cost go into calm card, and the power that gives u block for switching stances. Pyramid is obv good on most situations but I think it's best on watcher for how it gives you a free win if u can get those 3 cards In addition to eruption

Heart cleanses strength debuffs on turn 4 so it doesn't do anything. Usually you can use one for the first round and then another one later.

The RNG of Slay the Spire is implemented in a way that allows you to predict things about a seed when you shouldn't be able to, so he has a mod that changes the RNG to make it unpredictable. This mod will change how a seed plays out. I don't know exactly which mod he uses, but there is one on the steam workshop called "RNG Fix" that might be the one.
