Lolz you actually already have him. Once you get to the mysterious door and talk to the girl in the tea room, she'll explain how to gain champions. Once you get Warrior of Light, Sephiroth will already be in your case to.choose from :)

Well, Terra in the magitec armor IS more famous and recognizable than her Trance form (mostly due to the last being an spoiler and she in the armor is the first you see in the game), just like humanoid Sephirot is more popular than his ultimate, more powerful form.

They go all out with Omnislash and Squall gets this treatment. I'm not asking for some special treatment here. They already have a complete lionheart. Why nerf it to holy hell?

Cloud is using his vastly upgraded Omnislash from Advent Children (which I presume the remake will be using too) whereas Squall is really close to the original Renzokuken - and in fact this version is flashier. If FF8 had a movie the move would look better too. You want to know who got the nerf? Terra didn't get to keep Trance.

Yep, totally didn't expect that at all! So following that theory, it's possible we might see future DLC for X-2 Paine or CC Cisnei, maybe even a Tactics character. Kinda surprised Firion didn't make a show though, nor Cecil/Kain/Rydia.

I'd say anything is possible. With Sora coming, they're showing us that it doesn't have to be an FF character. I would absolutely LOVE if we got Musashi or Dominique Cross.

Look at it this way, out of all the final fantasy games, and all the characters in those games, Tifa was one of the few who got to be a summon, even over other FF7 party members, that's pretty great.

Rydia is in the game, just not a summon. Vivi is also in the game, you even have a Boss fight against him and his army.

oh yea? nice I hadnt seen any news about them at all and havent got the game so very cool to hear!. Idk I am still disappointed on Squalls lionheart though but clouds and lightnings is so great. lol. Squall was the OTHER user of a move like omnislash just kinda sad is all. oh well not everyone appreciates VIII as much as the other games.

Ryokoshii I'm more disappointed about the pre order bonus Sephiroth. I only got the game on day 1 cause I thought it would be an AOE, turns out it's not and only hits 1 target. Whats sad about Cloud's and Lighting's summon is that they cost more then regular and they still do around the same amount of damage as the other ones that cost only 1 gauge. (At least when I summon them they do between 1500 - 3000 points of damage, same as Tifa's or Squall's summons which cost only 1 gauge.) Snow is the only summon who has an AOE attack sadly. Hopefully when Sora comes out next year he will also be an AOE.

Nah, Snow is an unlikable piece of shit imo, especially in XIII and LR. Hope actually grows up into a pretty awesome guy in XIII-2, though it's kinda sad with all of the stuff he has to go through in LR.

I think they should have either a Noctis or Luna DLC Champion Summon in the future; Noctis summon (Armiger) would have him summon the Thirteen Royal Arms, and Luna's summon (Covenant) would allow her to regenerate the party's HP. I dunno, I think it's a a good idea. Don't know if the names suit the summon ideas.

I guess my question is, how would they go about doing it , considering the ending of the game....oh wait, we already have that , it's called Kingdom Hearts. XD

I wouldn't hold my breath. IX was the product of the original heart of the Final Fantasy team, most of those members have left Square and the people working on FF now have no real love or interest in IX. I could be wrong but considering what Nomura did to Vivi in KH2, and I'm kinda sceptical about the attention they gave IX in this game considering they literally just pick the 2 cute characters.
