Yeah. In the other games, he's alright with the heartless on his side. In this game though, he's all by himself on a rock with the croc circling him. This time, Hook ain't fucking around.

I love how the crocodile attacks anyone who enters the water. Doesn't matter if it's Ventus or Hook, he'll take an easy meal even though he's primarily here for Hook. It's great that they kept that opportunistic part of Tick Tock in the battle.

Captain Hook really put up quite a fight here. It can put Ventus players off-guard because it's a bit unexpected to have to take this much effort to beat a Disney villain. I know I did at first! xD

Through experience, this fight is easier to beat if you use mostly fire related abilities, as it causes Hook to stagger, and it allows you to start a combo.

@@stampoulisrafail7836 Even in Critical Mode, it is? Have you never actually played KH3 Critical mode for the main campaign? Fighting enemies isn't anymore enjoyable when the standard doing less damage to them and them doing more damage, its just much more of a chore. Links especially break it with how easy they are to activate with potions and elixirs, not to mention how much more spammable magic becomes. This fight against Captain Hook of all people, truly is more challenging than any of the main bosses in KH3 ever could be.

Imagine what will it be like if Captain Hook is one of the many villains in the Digimon anime, most notably seasons 1 and 2. He'd been joining forces with the Digimon Emperor, Jafar, Dr. Frankenstein, Hades, Electra, Maleficent and Ursula in the series. That would've been fascinating to see.

This guy was super annoying (the first time I played “Birth By Sleep” was on Critical Mode as I wanted to unlock the secret episode) but I spammed Shotlock and and glided around him as he went bonkers. On a side note, “The Encounter” has to be one of my favorite boss themes from the Kingdom Hearts series and Hook yelling “Smeeeeeeeee!” never gets old (I saw the original animated movie as a kid and he always had me cracking up fleeing from the crocodile).
