The story is that, before the events of Peter Pan, the titular boy cut off Hook's hand and fed it to that croc, who got a taste for Hook's blood, which is why he's so persistent.

You know for being so naive and pure hearted, Sora seems to have surprisingly little remorse for killing any of the Disney villains. Shan Yu collapses to the ground and presumably bleeds out right in front of them, and he and the others are just like "Yeah, we did it!"

Death is a....strong word in KH.

Its a word that really doesn't mean anything in the series, or at least is a concept vastly different from what we know it as. Seeing as people regularly "die" and come back or can be split into multiple beings and come back willy nilly. Blame the fast and loose writing.

No there is a fine line in the series between death and other things that happen. A solidified death in the series is when the body, soul, and heart have completely left the 3 realms of the living in the games. A majority of these villains do die in a sense and are banished to the realm of darkness as punishment for their acts while they were alive. however if someone is skilled enough in the dark arts(like maleficent) then they can resurrect those who have died( like oogie boogie). To me the phrase dead in this series can be summed up by this quote from the princess bride, "You see your friend here is only mostly dead. And theres's a big difference between all dead and mostly dead."

Sora: Hey there I have a magical weapon that can cut through solid concrete within a few swings and can open and close the metaphysical gateways of the universe. What do you do? Shan Yu: I HAVE A SWORD! Sora: fair enough. *goes valor form and kicks his ass*

But it's so much fun. It's why I want Marvel or Star Wars in a future KH game. "Oh hey Thanos. Got the infinity gauntlet I see. *goes final form* I'll take it thank you" Or the same against Darth Maul "oh you have a double-bladed lightsaber? How cute. Have double keyblade." Speaking of it cutting through concrete... anyone else think it doesn't cut living flesh? Like you could cut the moon in half but not a person.

TheDark4light kingdom hearts is already based off Star Wars ideas. Keyblade wielder would be the same as force users. Light and dark sides. Or in riku's case he's kind of balanced like mace windu.

Werewolves779 oh bullshit.. Young kid with ambitious dreams gets set on a Journey with an ancient weapon on a spaceship traveling to other worlds to fight darkness and dark side users. Then the prequel- powerful young wielder gets manipulated by a dark master (palpatine/xehanort and succumbs to darkness and ends up taking out his master eraqus/mace windu with the help of the dark master. and even having mark hamil voice master eraqus is kind of a nudge saying hey look what we did there. Never said KH copied verbatim what happened in Star Wars. KH has had its own particular differences no doubt. But its stupid to deny plot similarities and writing it off as "oh well dark and light have been used for years in stories. Besides KH is by far my favorites for the two franchises.

This is why I miss KH2 Sora so much. Though perhaps being merged with Roxas is what's making him act this way. I can't believe how they handled his character in DDD. It makes KH3 seem like a godsend.

I love the detail in Oogies kh2 death where Donald stomps on the bug like "Oh Hell No! We are NOT doing that freaky shit again!" Because they left a bug alive in kh1 and that's why the manor turned all janky.

The only Disney Villain deaths in the Kingdom Hearts series that were accurate to their film deaths are: 1. Oogie Boogie 2. Scar (albeit slightly altered) 3. Captain Hector Barbossa 4. Sark 5. The MCP 6. Claude Frollo (Sora's Side) 7. CLU (Riku's Side) 8. Evil Queen (Union X) 9. Gaston (Union X) 10. All the Titans (in KH3) 11. Mother Gothel (albeit slightly altered) 12. Davy Jones 13. Cutler Beckett *UPDATE:* Adding in other Disney villain deaths, so stop badgering why they're missing.

Maybe "Deaths" is a wrong term, since some are just being defeated. Cerberus is not killed Jafar is imprisoned on KH1 Not sure about ursulla, since she does not appear to be revived in KH2 like oggie Boogie, so it seems she is not killed on KH1 Hook is not dead You never kill Hades And you certainly not kill the bad guys and Pete on the Musketeers world

We also fight Mother Gothel (as a heartless), Randall's blob thing, and Evil Baymax. Alot of the new worlds like Toy Story and Big Hero 6 had new stories. Although I miss fighting Pete.

They should have shown that Frollo survived the fall and has been given heartless or demon powers to control fire. And after Sora beats him Dark Shadowy Arms grab hold of Frollo and pull him into hell.

Arsène Alucano Xion didn't technically die, she just went back to Sora, same with Roxas. As for Axel? I'm really not sure if that counts as a death. Since Lea's heartless and Nobody were defeated, Lea came back as a completed person. Curse you Kingdom Hearts and all your confusing convaluted crap....

If they did go with putting Callaghan in KH3 I wonder how that would've turned out since his motivations did involve trying to save someone he loved compared to other Disney villains and their motivations. So his heart definitely wasn't completely dark.

Fitting that Chernobog be in the KH games. Not just because he's a Disney villain, but because Chernobog, in Slavic mythology, is the god of darkness. Knowing that, I'm honestly surprised Chernobog only showed up once in the KH series.
