That Cody Carmelo botch is interesting because it shows the difference in experience. When they botched, Cody tried to sell the devastation because he knew it would have looked like both men got injured. Whereas Carmelo didn't think about the psychology of the move, and simply jumped up and tried to go into the next move as quickly as possible because he was embarrassed of the botch.

Man... I swear.... 493 Botchamanias have been made, and people STILL don't understand: 1) Always make sure the braces are off the table 2) NEVER use a table shorter than 6 ft. long. (Simple math about the breaking point of a large object with only 2 supports. That center is like butter to break.... unless you're like 140 lbs.) 3) Check the table before willy nilly using it. Straight wood tables do NOT break like Particle Board tables (the usual kind). 4) NEVER EVER EVER EVER USE PLASTIC FOLDING TABLES. THEY ARE BUILT TO SUSTAIN MORE DAMAGE AND ARE INFINITELY HARDER TO BREAK. ((Unless you're a Super Heavyweight.))

yeah i think it's key to stick to the reality of the bit. when someone's just lying back on the table over and over it kills any kind of suspension of disbelief that this is actually a fight. at least let them put *you* through it if you're gonna try again immediately.

6:57 Yeah, in that kind of noun phrase you’d use the preposition à to mean “[food] with [ingredient/flavor],” as in pain au chocolat or duck à l’orange. “Omelette du fromage” would indicate belonging/possession and translate to “omelette of the cheese” or “the cheese’s omelette.”

In my opinion the best way to continue after a botch is to simply take as what it is, a mistake a failed move or a move that simply didn’t connect rather than acting as if the move was perfectly executed, like if someone slips off the top rope in a mistake then have the opponent take advantage of that instead quickly trying to climb back up and doing the move again, if someone misses a punch or kick they should not act as if the move connected when it’s clear it didn’t.

I believe Maven even says that in one of his recent videos. Roll with the mistake and keep going. If the spot was really important, then do a few moves before circling back to the spot. Acting like it went perfectly or trying to redo it right away just looks goofy (in a bad way).
