PARENTS of two transgender children say they are not pushing an agenda, but instead supporting their kids with acceptance and love. James, 11, and Olivia, 7, live with their parents, Ben and Sara, in Berkeley, California. The family are sharing their story with the hope of normalising the narrative surrounding trans children.

Listen buddy, You want them to follow your strict unchanging Abrahamic gender rules. That isn’t traumatizing? If you want them to follow YOUR Abrahamic Deuteronomy 22:5 rules (instead of freedom to be creative and make their own), then respectfully, SHUT. UP. Nobody wants to hear you. Adhere to your Abrahamic gender roles on YOUR own. Don’t force others to be like you or dress like you. Your Abrahamic dictatorship that has been taking control of most history will soon be over. You can dress according to the religious Abrahamic male vs female code, but YOU CANNOT FORCE IT ON EVERYONE ELSE.

As a trans guy, this is not okay. These children show no signs of actual gender dysphoria. I came out at 11, and my mom sent me straight to therapy. It sucked, but I understand why she wouldn’t allow me to transition medically until I was 18. This isn’t okay.

I’m not gonna lie growing up, I would act very boyish . They would tell me in kindergarten i would act like a boy. I felt like I didn’t fit in with girls. I dislike dresses I was 6 at the time. I always felt like a boy. I told my parent at the time. They told me “just because you like the things you like doesn’t mean you are not who you are, don’t let them ever tell you such thing, don’t ever question yourself why you like the things you like” at that moment they gave me a hug and told me they love me. Since growing up I really doubt myself I label myself “gender-fluid” I thought I was bi and because I was boyish I thought that was normal. Label myself into a gender, sexuality. I was confused at age 13. Now I’m 22. I’m a mom. Im a women. Society label gender, sexuality if your being a boy or girl. But I do know just because you like dinosaurs or you like racing with boys in the park, or video games, or you want you hair short. Doesn’t mean your a boy. But accepting your self loving your self with all those qualities. That’s you. ❤️

Congrats. A few years ago, I too considered myself trans when I surrounded myself in an lgbtq group who encouraged this. I even had one friend who suggested I inject hormones into myself because I was uncertain of my gender. If it wasn't for my parents, who had noticed I was different and found I was considering myself trans online, and helping me realizing I wasn't I was just surrounded by the wrong people, idk where I'd be today. I have never once reconsidered by gender and I am very strong and affirmed in my manhood. A vast majority of adolescent kids who have gender dysphoria decide against it later on. Telling kids to get injected hormones and extremely risky surgeries with major complications that legitimately ruin their body, is indoctrination and glorified child abuse. This movement is completely evil when you poke through the holes and realize what they are actually pushing. They are not pushing universal acceptance, they are pushing to completely ruin impressionable children's bodies and make them infertile forever. I am very happy that you went back on your decision and I wish you the best
@jessiesfrosties
@jessiesfrosties 9 ай бұрын
@@Zewind Yeah you kinda lost credibility when you called it a "movement" pushing an agenda. Being trans is something you are, nothing more, nothing less. You're either trans or cis. Transitioning is a choice for some, and isn't a choice for others. You're also lying about regret rates - the transition process has one of the lowest regret rates of all time for basically every procedure, including HRT. The regret rate is 0.5-2% depending on country. The global regret rate for having children is 10%+. Puberty blockers aren't dangerous in the least, their only effect is delaying puberty. Once a person is of legal age, they are no longer a kid, and HRT + surgeries should be completely up to them - these do not ruin the body. Yes, infertility is a potential side-effect, and trans people understand that. Infertility isn't a curse or a bad thing if you don't want kids, and even if you do, you can deposit sperm to a sperm bank, or eggs for that matter. Or adopt. The "think of the children" argument is so tired and irrelevant it's baffling people still make the attempt. The surgeries, unless necessary for life saving purposes, are only made on adults, and they're not "risky" surgeries. Any surgery is by default more risky than not having one, at least short term, but these surgeries aren't new or experimental. They're just regular surgeries. And for people with bad gender dysphoria, lifesaving. Also, taking HRT for a day or two won't do anything to your fertility. Literally nothing. And your body will tell you exactly what it thinks of the hormones VERY fast, way before any permanent changes take place. So anybody "on the fence but kinda sure" who tries HRT (in a safe way) will know very fast if they're trans or not, because if you're not trans, you'll experience gender dysphoria and body disassociation when you take the "wrong" hormones.
@Zewind

@@jessiesfrosties Yeah you completely missed the mark there. All my claims have actual proof if you need it. Unlike you, who is extremely brainwashed and didn't provide any proof just made up things to counter my claims. The fact that you are detesting the sick and twisted things like gender changing surgeries and puberty blockers on kids that will ruin their life, that being appealed to impressionable children, just makes you look like a horrible person who cares more for unconditional acceptance. Here is a news flash for you. A person who really cares about you will not be accepting of everything you do, they will steer you clear of things they know will harm you. I am sorry that you think this way and I hope you try to be open minded one day and consider how awful this push for biological changes on children is. Good day

I'm conflicted, I like that these kids are obviously loved and listened to. I'm totally up for letting kids dress and act how they like. I'm concerned that medical treatment is happening that's permanent at such a young age really concerns me. Have they spoken to professionals that specialise in transgender, have they had therapy (you can go to therapy re many things like upcoming ops etc not just mental health to talk through things to be sure the decision is the right one). I have always had a masculine energy. I remember being 16, sat in the college hall thinking I really want to become male. I really meant it but it stopped around 3 years later. My daughter is 12, also a masculine energy. She isn't thinking about her gender or other people's genders or gives a toss about the differences, she just accepts everyone. At 8 I wouldn't dream of altering her body chemistry if she said she wanted to be male. I'd support her, even call her he if she wanted but I would not do anything that affects her body until she is old enough to prove she has done all the research and old enough to give consent. 15/16 is one thing, but 8?

My youngest kiddo came to me when she was 12 and told me that she was lesbian. I asked her if she was positive. she asked why. I told her that she is young, things will change, that may change too. She asked what to do. I told her, don't put a label on yourself and just go with the flow. She's almost 16 now. Low and behold.... it changed. She still hasn't put a label on herself that describes that because she knows the answer already... it may change again. Just wait and go with the flow. She dresses more masculine but she does put on light makeup. She just goes with the flow and made her own style. She mentioned transitioning once. She felt better wearing guys clothing versus girls. But after we had this talk about her sexuality and preference.... she's never mentioned it again. She just needed reassurance that it was okay to be her.

Guess what, I said the same. The VAST majority of girls who claim they are bisexual, end up marrying a man, and having kids. They are not bi anything, they are just hormonal estrogenic sensitive girls who are attracted to women because they can relate to their " energy". They are not sexully attracted to women. They relate and confuse it with something else. But biology wins the majority of the time if they manage to stabalize their personality and psyche. I have one lesbian friend with a more masculine temperament. It does not even remotely compare to the men in my life. Masculine temperament does not mean you are a man. they dont think like men, act like men or feel like men. They think they do because their temperament does not enjoy nailpolish and is more rational oriented. The insanity of it all. Being lesbian and sexual attraction is not akin to being a man. We both know that, as we both lived with one ;)

Just so people get it straight, being a tomboy and being trans are two WILDLY different things. I was the tomboy of all tomboys as a kid (even my older brother tells people that I went early in the "draft" when teams were chosen despite my being the only girl 😆), but I never questioned my gender; I just wasn't a girly-girl... and I still wasn't when I got voted "best looking" and "cutest hairstyle" as a senior in high school. Decades later, I still prefer combat boots over pumps, but I've always been a female and strictly dickly in my sexual preference 😊. People who identify as a trans man wouldn't have that experience (and their sexual preference could be wildly different too). My point? It's complicated - and it's highly unlikely that it's a "phase" if a little girl keeps insisting that she's a boy for years on end.

I was desperate to be a boy from the age of around 8, it was all I thought about. I wore boys clothes, played with boys toys and all of my close friends were male. If you had described the term Transgender to me at that age, I would have said that was me. But the feeling slowly passed at around 13 and a decade later I can confidently say I love my body and gender.

smileyguy24 I agree. I was a super tom boy and my mom was even scared I wanted to be boy. At four, I behaved like what most people would consider how a typical rowdy 4 year old boy did, but I never really saw the line between boy and girl until 9 or so. I was raised in a household that treated boys and girls the same until they reached puberty. I agree with this statement wholeheartedly and I wish my community and those who support it wouldn’t treat it as a trend or something to be publicized. I just want to be treated like a normal man, I don’t want “oppression points” for it.

maybe they don't know they're trans or maybe they don't even know labels exist, they just feel like the opposite gender. Gender identity is in your brain is not really hard, just the labels and the things deriving from it. Kids don't need to know the labels, i'll agree with that, but preventing a trans child from transitioning is literally abuse. Many trans children come out in a conservative and/or religious environment, which is potentially really harmful, and i am 99.9% sure a conservative/religious parent wouldn't force their child to live as the opposite gender. Forcing a cis kid to be trans is also abuse, i'll agree on that, though most of the time it's not the case when it comes to children transitioning (which is the opposite of what your kind thinks). edit: trans children also have friends, play games, go to school, have good or bad grades, get scolded by their teachers/parents, feel awkward in family reunions, just like any other children would. They're not a type of vile wretched monster desperatly seeking for everything lgbtq+ related. Being lgbtq+ might not even be a part of their personalities, like being cis might not be a part of the personality of cis children. thanks for coming to my ted talk

In 2019, I took my 16 year old daughter for counseling because she was depressed and it was one of the worst things I ever did. They convinced her she was a boy and encouraged her to go on testosterone that they said she could get without my permission. My daughter did her own research and found out how negatively testosterone affects a female, so she declined it. About 1 month into therapy, they called me into the therapy session where she told me she was a boy. I will never forget the day. I said "no you are not, God doesn't make mistakes". They made me out to be public enemy #1 when I refused to call her my son and by her "boy name". They told me if I didn't accept that she was a boy, it meant I didn't love her unconditionally. I took her out of counseling right away and never acknowledged this falsehood. After a lot of prayer and love, she stopped dressing like a boy and started growing her hair out. By age 18, she had totally broke free from the brainwashing and is now engaged to be married to an awesome young man. Don't ever give in to the pressure of accepting lies from the enemy. God bless.
