IDENTICAL twin brothers who were born female both transitioned gender at the same time. Identical twins Angel and Fabian Griffin do everything together: they are both aspiring rappers, they train together at the gym, are each other’s wingman on a night out and both drive trucks for a living. But most dramatically, in their early twenties, both made the decision to transition from female to male. The 29-year-old brothers, from Atlanta have been able to support one another every step of their joint journey - from surgery and dating to the realities of what it means to be a young black man in America.

Cassidy Miles Our lives miserable? I have a better life than I could possibly ever imagine. I have God with me and that alone is the best gift ever. I have a good family (no divorces,cheating and that kind of stuff). My (spiritual) brothers from church who are always near to support me. Also a soon to be beautiful fiancee, whom I'll probably be engaged to next year. Well I have my struggles too and that's normal, (eg. financial problems) but it's not even that important, I'm not poor. So if that's sounds like a miserable life to you, then you're probably crazy woman. As for the 2 black siblings well... Can't say the same for their fat full of hormones, ruined bodies. So here I am living a normal, happy life and them living the kind of life where their only concern is if they'll be identified as "boys".

See the world cannot understand that because. If you're male you should just be male. And if you're female. Just remain female, whether you sound male look male act like male. Stay female. Because majority of us who are born without any issues really want to be with someone who is true with how they were born. This ladies , looks like tyga and they could fool a lady into thinking they're males. Yet they are not males. Some of us just want to have kids and raise a family the normal way. But if something like this happens then we'll screw the whole world order.

@Kali Evelynn, Take a couple months alone to find out who you really are, you weaknesses and strengths, long walks and diaries help out with the process. The more time you spend alone you will be able to acknowledge more things you have never done before. Try new habits and relationships, try and really get away from the source of the problem and everytime you stress about it(and this works everytime) stop and think what am I stressing about, and quickly write down the source of the issue then you’ll know how to avoid. The point I’m trying to get at is learn how to control and trick your brain to make you feel the emotions you want to feel.

@Kali Evelynn Don’t listen to that person, you are who you say you are, even if not who you were born as. People change, and gender dysphoria is probably what’s causing you so much distress. Transitioning will actually probably help your depression, so if you can I hope you can visit a gender therapist and get the proper treatments you need. Whether that be hrt or top/bottom surgery. Even if you’re not able to do that right now (I still have to wait over two years) stay strong, and stay safe, you got this girl!

Omg! I went to middle school with them. The one with the dreads (Iesha) was in my class. I even have that photo of them with the blue background inside my photo album. Everybody use to take pictures at this photo shop inside the mall..Iesha was very quiet, a little weird...but now I see why.

@@lookinglistening09 TRANSmen may still retain a uterus and thereby may physically get pregnant even thought it's something "men don't go through". I'm a cis woman and I would horrified if I found out I was pregnant because that's not something that aligns with my view of myself and my life. I know it's not the same but at the time I made the comment I was remembering stories of other trans people's experiences with pregnancy one was good since he was the only one in the couple who had a functioning uterus and the pair wanted children so he was willing to sacrifice 9 months of his perceptions of himself and others perception of him for the chance to give his partner a child of their own, another story was bad because the trans man in that one was already dealing with gender dysphoria and being pregnant is typically the most female thing a person can do so to be in that state while feeling oneself is supposed to be male was difficult. I actually dont remember how that story ended though.

i’ve always found the dynamic between twins interesting, its really cool to see trans twins. i wonder if since they’re twins they have the same hormonal imbalance in the brain, its super interesting to think about. i know trans twins are far from common but it would be cool to see a study about them

Y'all are FINE men! Your Mom and son being so cool and supportive is amazing! I am married to a FtM and We have been together before his transition started 27 years ago. We were Blessed with 4 beautiful daughter's witch I carried as their Momma and we used my husbands brothers sperm for our children. He was single and in the Navy never having kids of his own. My now grown adult daughters had a cool uncle that traveled the world and sent them wonderful gifts 🎁 We have always been 100% honest with our family and especially our daughters. Because we were raising a family and without insurance coverage my children do remember their Daddy with boobs and binding everyday for years. He had top surgery 15 years ago and just recently completed his transition. We went on to adopt LGBTQ kids from the system that failed them. 2 of our adopted daughters are now our 2 handsome sons and are in transition currently! You guys are AWESOME and very HANDSOME! Rap On Dudes! Best of Luck from this Trans Family!

@@serenitynowyolo I have heard someone (a trans person, in fact) say that trans people have some type of mental "affliction"...meaning it's not exactly an illness but that it's not "normal" either. I'm no expert on the matter so I'm not going to say whether that statement is right or wrong. BUT...in this day and age, what IS normal anyway? I could mention so many topics but I won't, so all I'll say is that for as long as there are humans, there will be change - nothing has been, is or will be permanent or constant. The only universal thing to be mindful of is to not hurt one another.

I understand the whole “transitioning” thing but I feel not allowing your child to call you mom or dad and just address you by your 1st name is so disheartening. For me it shows a sense of separation or detachment from your child. I can’t imagine calling my parents by their first names. Not just out of respect for them but also because they aren’t just any person walking around. They are my parents.

*TALK ABOUT SHAPESHIFTING FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!! Words can not describe how shocked I am by this video! I would feel scared to be born one way, and spend each and every day of my life; being this one particular way, but then all of a sudden wake up with this entirely different look, different voice, different body, and lots of other different features that were never mine from the get-go. That would be too hard for me to adjust to!! I can't even picture it in my head without getting a terrible frightening sensation!!!!! Sitting here on my couch; trying to imagine something like that is creepy enough as it is. I am used to the way I naturally look and the way that I have always remembered seeing myself from when I was a kid; all the way up until this very second! Who I am is the person I will be for eternity!!!! Physically there are some things that I disapprove of and are not proud of; but I am NOT doing anything to change any of my bodily insecurities!!! Not today, not tomorrow, not next week, or etc!!! I just couldn't. I'm too afraid. I'm scared of how it would seem and I already know that if I would've altered my image; I will at some point start to miss my old self after going through the procedures of having the transformation. I wouldn't be able to accept my decision or forgive myself!!!!*
