I doubt Bottesini would've dreamed of the level of todays bassists. Incredible arrangement! So imaginative yet loyal to the original, hope to play it with a friend some day!

Absolutely brilliant! Funny how the introduction to the 2nd movement played on 2 basses immediately reminds me of Gran Duetti (and their slow movements)

On ne dirait pas un arrangement mais que c'est un duo écrit comme ça exprès. on oublie vite l'orchestre en fait . Vraiment génial et l'interprétation c'est la classe.

I like this piece, I'm almost obsessed with it. +1 The two basses kind of "fight" with each other when playing both in the same range at the same time. It's like with wifi - the spectrum gets congested and the "noise" increases. Might be why composer but the other instruments higher.

C'est incroyable, on n'arrive pas à décrocher les yeux de "l'accompagnement" qui est magnifique, quel bel hommage à la contrebasse qui se fait vraiment entendre dans tous ses registres ainsi... Tout est parfait ! Bravo et merci !!!
