Beside being an outstanding performance, for me personally this is something more: it's how I would always dreamed to play this concert (and never been able to, needless to say). Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

i watched this compeititon in person last year, and this is my one of my absolute favovorite concerto of all time and i dont even play bass. this is also one of my favorite performances of it. I hope to someday compete in this competition

Unbelievable, suddenly the 2. Mvt. is a real emotional experience, and not a nice piece for double bass!
