Probably referring to the famous dancer Fanny Cerrito (1817-1909), this fantasia showcases the virtuosity and lyricism of Giovanni Bottesini.

It has shades of Passions Amarosa and the Elegy No 2, and later maybe a bit of La Sonnambula. Very nicely played, as usual! (The piano playing, too.)
