Bottle Dump searching! The Rarest And The Tiniest For A Miniature Mudlarking Museum!

This week we take a break from mudlarking to dump lark, back searching at our favourite bottle dump. We found a beautiful rare green Bovril bottle (which has a small internal crack but we don`t mind) and the smallest miniature useable pipe we have ever found! We also found lots of other amazing things as this place always proves very fruitful and full of interesting treasure. Come with us and see what we uncover in the dirt. We also curate a miniature museum at the end of the film and take you through some of our very smallest finds! We hope you enjoy!

I needed this video! Having an existential crisis at the moment, so it's lovely to see you both. I love that pig! Such gorgeous animals! That green Bovril is something quite special too. Of course the bottle digger would leave you guys doll bits because you're fab! I love your little museum case and would love to see your full collection! Good heavens ladies sell those bottles in your shop. You wouldn't believe how many people here in the states would love those bottles ,doesn't matter they aren't embossed. We don't care...I very much enjoyed your little museum of tiny things and hearing you tell about them,even tho I watched you find them..

Loved all the finds at the Dump! But my favorite part of this video was the assembling of the Miniatures Museum. I love your tiny finds and it was so wonderful to be reminded of their discovery and seeing them placed so carefully in the case. Marvellous video of Sunny 🐈‍⬛ ‘the famous feline’ he just puts everything into perspective. Kate, I agree with you a knitting needle end was what I saw too. Love the mini museum and the tiny pipe, there were just so many things to go ohhhh and ahhhh over, as always looking forward to seeing the next one.

The bottle dump finds were all "brilliant". Unusual colors, tiny bottles, tiny pipe and many more. Curating the museum box was fun to watch and lovely when completed. Thanks to the bottle digger who gathered and left the grouped doll pieces. Very thoughtful.

That was a fantastic video. The tiny pipe bowl and the green Bovril were two of my favorites. It killed me seeing all those wonderful bottles left behind, but at the same time I completely understood. You can only keep so much. Your mini museum turned out so good. They look great in that display box. It was fun seeing them all again. Now the key will be to keep Sunny Cat from knocking them about. It seems there isn't a place he can't get. I loved watching him bat at the things while you were trying to talk. That was great fun. And yes, you asked if anyone would like to see some of your collections. Yes, I'd love to. You've shared some at different times but I always enjoy it. Thank you for another great video. :-D

The only thing missing from the case was your nail, Fleur...the one with the maker's mark, but at the closing I think it's there. I love the little museum, it's perfect! What an absolutely brilliant mudlarking place this dump is. So many wonderful treasures to find there. So much hidden from view. You just never know what will turn up next. I loved it, that other mudlarkers leave what they don't want, uncovered in little safe piles for others to find. Your dolls heads were perfect examples of this. That has to be the best collection of finds yet! The Bovril is gorgeous and the dolls and the pipe but I would have been thrilled if I had found the pig, he is wonderful and I would put him on a cup so I could see him every time I drank. Love miniature things, have a collection of my own! Cats are so weird sometimes! I have 4, they are…..cats. Investigators, destroyers of mice and rats and sometimes birds, always in my way! 😂😂

For the big dump baby, put the eyes in first, then later you can build the back with white Milliput. If you measure across the eye opening, in mm, you can find what size eyes to put in. The iris of the eye should not have white showing on the top or bottom, only the sides. If you used Scotch tape across the the outside of the eye openings you can lightly stick the eyes in to get them the right way so they are not wonky. To put the plaster of Paris around the eye to hold the eyes in place, make a soft holder out of towels laid on the table and put the face into the towels. Use a popcicle stick to apply the plaster of Paris. Let dry at least 24 hours before moving.
