I'd like to see some actual comparison testing between the CIGS 200W panel and say a Renogy 200W flexible panel to see how close to 38% better the CIGS does. The claim sounds way to good to be true. Then again, they cost about twice what the Renogy panel does so maybe it's legit. Need to see testing.

Hobo tech shot holes through his CIGS panel and it still worked at about 85%.

It’s held up surprisingly well actually! I have a little bit of fading in a couple areas but it’s minimal

Who has these things attached to the soft tonneau cover over the back of their pickup truck. And, how tightly can the whole thing be rolled up, when its time to haul freight in the box ?

That might be a little tight! Guess it depends what size your truck box is. Would be a great idea though! I’m sure it would work.

Longer life span than other flexible panels maybe. They are too new to say how long they last. BoughRV lists a (10+2 year??) warranty if you buy from their site and a 25 year "performance warranty". Similar to some rigid mono panels that have a 24 year warranty.

Time will tell! I’ve decided to stick with my Renogy ones since I have 540w but the CIGS tested out great while I had hem installed.

Will Prowse mentions on his website (but not in any video I found) that no longer recommends any flexible panel including CIGS because of delamination. These would be great for my application but that makes me hesitant.

Yes I understand that! I’m currently testing these out for the same reason 👍 we’ll see how long they last before they start to delaminate
