How did you joint the Wires together , Did you use some kind of step down butt connectors or how ?
@gmax019 сағат бұрын
just grind it away with a metal brush and electric grinder. Then paint with rurstoleum enamel and cover with rust proof film. I've done it many time will last you for at least 5 years

Thanks for the tip! Haven’t used rust proof film before

Hi, great video, I was about to purchase one of these units until I read the manual which says maximum alternator input 75-100A. My van is the Peugeot Boxer the european version of a Ram pro master. It is fitted with a 150A Alternator. Do you know if this new Renogy kit is compatible as its alternator is putting out about 50/60A at idle - trouble is I will not be at idle whilst driving around! This is my first van build and any help would be very much appreciated! Cheers!

Isn't Switzerland crazy expensive?
@Travelismylovelanguage3 күн бұрын
Currently visiting Switzerland and it’s beautiful but not the friendliest people I’ve encountered and too expensive. For this reason, I’d skip Switzerland. There are many other beautiful places with friendly people and way more affordable. Plus social media tends to over glamorize everything. Just my two cents.

My Bluetooth on this isn’t working past 1 meter
@madetoexplore5 күн бұрын
That’s strange. I’ve noticed a huge improvement on the Bluetooth distance with this model compared to other models. I think the small antenna on the outside helps. My 400ah Renogy battery Bluetooth is terrible
@jdsfairlinetarga37905 күн бұрын
@@madetoexploreyes it’s less than ideal and Renogy are on coms but fear it’s going back for new one. I have a battery further away than the dc to dc and that is ok but this charger is under the floor and I have to lay phone on the floor to get it to connect

Would this work for charging my power station while driving?
@madetoexplore8 күн бұрын
It could but using a 12v adaptor for the power station would probably be easier?

Hi! Did you have to get any drone permit to fly in Dolomites?

I've got the older version, I haven't used it but a good tip on the solar cut off switch. Yeah the 25v is a bit lame on the old version.
@madetoexplore10 күн бұрын
It’s a great model! Definitely gotta have the switch if you want to pull 45-50 amps

This model is also approved to be installed inside an engine bay and it will trickle charge your starter battery when your house battery is full! Thanks for watching guys. Let me know what you think of this model in the comments below!

Unfortunately the Stairs are being demolished. It is a safety and liability issue. People are being issued citations and arrested for Trespassing and not following the Laws. Both ways are closed and it is lost to Time. Be glad you get to watch this or have the opportunity to do this when you can.

What a video! I had seen the Dolomites before on an Italian show that I stumbled upon, Un passo dal cielo, and I was blown away. The water and the mountains looked supernatural. I wanted to visit it but thought it was impossible. This video showed me that it was not and that perhaps I should add the place to my bucket list. Thanks for the video!

The title of your video caught my attention because I was looking for something about seeing stars in Jasper. This video is a change of pace for me as I usually have only sought out videos of Jasper when there is no snow. I'm glad that I watched the video as I learnt that Jasper is pretty in the winter.

Beautiful video!!! My wife & I plan to drive a scooter up the Amalfi coast in a couple months. Did you have a lot of experience on a scooter before you drove there? I only have a little experience, but am hoping to practice more before I go. I apprecate all your tips. Did you have any close calls with busses?

You went to some great places, my wife and I leave in 2 days for Italy and the Dolomites and we can't wait! I'm curious, how was flying the drone there? Did you have to get any sort of clearance? I've been researching areas to fly and some of the places you have footage from show up as being restricted, did anyone hassle you? I'm debating bringing my drone, Thanks!
@madetoexplore21 күн бұрын
I would definitely recommend it! It’s pretty easy to fly in a lot of areas through out the Dolomites. I always try my best to stay away from people as best as I can.

This place was really incredible. I almost didn't go because it wasn't in quite the same region as the other places I explored (Interlaken, Grindlewald and Lauterbrunnen). Definitely glad that I did though. Truly amazing place on earth, definitely recommend. I took the row boat out to the middle of the lake for a while and just chilled, which was beyond blissful.
