Great informational vid you have put together. I just bought TB 138 FR and am hoping it gets me through some of the farm chores I have for it. 3300 hrs on it, a bit dirty and the thought was to give her a good hose down to get a good idea of its weak points. You missed covering the part where you lifted the cab. Haven't figured that one out yet and was wondering how much of a struggle it was. Thank you for this.

Why can't I ever find a deal like this? I don't mind doing the work if I could get a machine at a good price. You are a lucky guy.

Hey I hope you can help me out here. So im working on the same excavator a tb135. The thing was smoking like a freight train and the blowby was bad. After pulling the head and pistons I found out the far right piston, rings are shot plus there is a pretty decent ring ridge on the cylinder.... so my question is do you think I could get it to run for a few hundred more hours without smoking with just ridge reaming the cylinder, honing it and installing new pistons and rings? We barley use the thing and we really don't wana do a bottom end rebuild on it.

do you happen to still have the part number for the hydraulic tank vent?

Cats and roads. Thats why i moved to France from UK, where land is cheaper and got small place far from roads. but they still get ill and they still die and break hearts.

How come you didn't power wash before disassembling the engine ?

awe man! spoiler with the not lapping valves message you added in! Now I know it won't end up running 100% halfway through. I dont know if you ever disclosed it but I am guessing your name is John Fitzgerald

I follow Jesse and Andrew, AC is my fav channel of all time... Yea that Skid steer and jesse... Man he has some patience because that job fought him the whole way something aweful. I hope there is a long trail of deleted video in his edits with lots of cussing to show that he is human lol

Very nice. What’s a good deal on something like that machine?
@fitzsfixes Жыл бұрын
I mean, it was a friend's and family discount for me. But looking back on it now and seeing the work that it's been able to do since I fixed it. I'd be fine paying 8 or 9k for another one in the same condition

If there good engines why did that one overheat then
@chrisrainville6324 Жыл бұрын
No matter how good any engine is,if you run it low on coolant ,it will overheat.doesn’t mean it’s not a great engine.
