I'm thinking about moving there. I've lived in the north woods all my life and the weather is getting to me. I'm scared of scorpions and rattlesnakes though, especially because I am vision impaired.

Boulder City looks to be the best place for my family and me. My concern is the cost of living and whether or not we can all find adequate jobs to support us. My husband and I are teachers and one son is a butcher the other is severe autism but can work some jobs.

I live there, it’s really safe, it’s about 40 minutes from the strip and 30 from Henderson

Illuminati Productions I have lived in Boulder City all my life like anywhere its not 100 percent safe but safer than a lot of places and it is about 12-15 min from Henderson and about 40 from the strip

Considering other places in this town has grass, "the desert" isn't as obvious an answer as some would like to believe. I do think however since dog waste is a natural grass killer, I bet BC didn't want to keep investing the money and effort in the upkeep of a grassy spot for pooches to play.
