Shelley and her training partner speak about the development of her newest racing orthoses, used in the 2018 World Championship.
Shelley has received orthotic care at Boundless since 2004. Initially this meant an ankle-foot orthosis (AFO) for day-to-day activities. Not long after Shelley decided to return to the sport she loved, and get back on her bike. As she became more competitive it was clear she required an AFO specific to cycling.
Certified Orthotist, Gordon Ruder, a competitive cyclist himself, continues to work closely with Shelley and her team to provide truly custom orthotic designs.
Shelley Gautier claimed her 14th gold medal at the world cup in Belgium, 10 days following the filming of this video.
