On Saturday, Bournemouth travelled to Luton Town in the hope of enhancing our European hopes, which would have concurrently simultaneously condemned the Hatters to a devastating defeat in their battle for survival. But despite taking the lead, Luton’s late late show ensured they are still in it, a winner which simultaneously has persuaded some Cherries fans to put their passports back in their pockets.
Meanwhile, over in Twitter-land, Nottingham Forest fans were FUMING after witnessing Iraola's side lose the game, spewing plenty of pain and vitriol - undoubtedly because the loss puts them right back in the relegation mix.
Sam and Tom take a look at a bad weekend for the Cherries, but an even worse one for Forest.

As a Forest fan i want to distance myself from those tweets. As with many clubs we all have our problem fans who just cant help themselves. We need to be winning our games not worrying about others .As if Bournemouth was wanting to throw a game away , ive never heard so much rubbish in my life. That's some kind of conspiracy shit. We have it in our own hands to sort out before the season ends .

If we going to lose, then " happy" to do it to Luton. Realistically Luton will lose v Man City but can pick up what they need from Brentford, Everton & Fulham @ Home, plus Wolves & West Ham Away Everton still to get another points penalty, with the suggestion of another -5 points I am probably on my own in thinking that Europe would not have been good for us. Very happy with 9th and beating our Premier League record of 46 points

Luton and Bournemouth have had many brilliant matches in all divisions over the last 20 years. Never any bad blood and the Lockyer incident brought the clubs together. So F forest. Hatters and Cherries Rock!!!

Luton fan here, great podcast, very intelligent analysis of the game and big respect to Bournemouth, remember 08/09 season in L2 when we both had massive points reductions, you survived it and we ended up with a 5 year prison sentence of fighting it out in the non league. Look where we both are now! It was a massive result for us Saturday, we are down to bear bones of the squad, but our non regular 1st team players are all stepping up to the task, I'm hoping we can do this, and very much look forward to playing you again in the Premier League next seadon! 🎉

Tbh as a forest fan i aint got anything against bournemouth or luton, if we go down then thats on the team who wouldnt have been good enough to stop up, same with the whole PSR thing we got deducted points for breaking rules thats our own faults, but for me if we go down its because we simply haven't won enough games

Given the shout outs to renew our passports and the Luton result has dented European hopes, maybe your 6-a-side team could represent the cherries in Europe. Went to an Amsterdam 6-a-side tournament last July and the guy that ran it was actually a cherries fan. Great video. Agree with Tom we'll beat United. What a double that would be!!

Agree with the comments about Neto. I’ve said on this channel recently. We are safe. Travs gives us a more commanding presence, taking crosses and still makes the saves …….. get him in. How else does the lad get the Premier League experience he needs so can make a proper challenge for the Number 1 spot next season. Travs must have had some frustrating times seeing Neto’s mistakes but he still doesn’t get the nod. Neto can still speak loads of languages from the bench if you are pointing to that as his main strength. Loved seeing the Queens Park on screen. I worked there many years ago.
