It's nice to see a channel where someone actually builds something rather than just flapping about sharpening or giving us their perspective on the best way to chop a mortice. I love it.

Enjoyed the video Joe, it certainly showed your skill with both hand and power tools. That Domino although expensive definitely looks the business. I have watched a few vids recently on the Triton Router and it certainly has some unique features, how do you find it.... The sign of a craftsman is when he makes things look easy and you made this look like a walk in the park. Congrats and thanks.....Brian.

I like the no nonsense approach on how to actually build this classic piece of furniture. Fans of FineWoodworking are probably not likely to use the same jointing methods as you did with screws and dominos, but I'm also a subsciber and fan of the magazine yet fully admiring your techniques. Rather than painting did you consider dying it by the way? could also have worked?

Hi, I just found and subscribed to your channel and am impressed! You show how some really sophisticated effects can be achieved with relatively simple tools and techniques, which has really inspired me. Can I ask what the platform is that you have the Triton router on? I have the same router and that could allow me to use it for more applications. Thanks again for the great channel.
@KingPostTimberWorks
@KingPostTimberWorks 8 жыл бұрын
hi, cool thanks, glad my vid was useful! that base is from my router table, It is held into the table by 4 machine screws and pretty quick to take out and put back in. sometimes I need to set up a bit in the table then take the whole lot out and its ready to go. this is my router table www.carbatec.co.nz/product/3016-router-table-with-tenoning-attachment
@leostoltoy
@leostoltoy 8 жыл бұрын
Hmm... thanks for that. At the moment I'm using my router under my DIY workbench, and it hadn't occurred to me I could use the router still attached to the insert, above the table. I'm very much an amateur woodworker, and am always surprised how much of woodworking is inventively finding simple solutions that seem obvious only after you've worked them out! Thanks again.
